  1. Sorry!! :blushing:
  2. Thanks bud. I'm sure the power will be ok for me, it'll probably only get used on a nice Sunday anyhow. I'm that rare breed that actually does enjoy just going for a drive, with no particular route or destination in mind. I'd like to be in a position to invest a few quid more for a nice TT, but priorities are different these days. Still hanker after a Zed though.
  3. Cheers Dan. A stock TT would be plenty of power for me. More than enough power for road use. Cheers.
  4. Or if anyone is after an immaculately restored Ultra Burner......
  5. In all honesty, not a lot :( I'm selling some of my old school bmx to fund it. Although the money is supposed to go on our house refurb lol
  6. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/1990-nissan-300zx-gs/4786571?v=b
  7. Cheers bud, again the input is appreciated. Definitely food for thought. Cheers.
  8. Thanks for the input, appreciated. I deleted the HICAS on my Slicktop so could live without that I reckon. Decisions??
  9. Have any of you guys owned a TT then moved on to an NA? If so how do you find the difference in performance, drive etc. I'm still looking to get back into a Zed and might be going down the auto NA route. Although as some of you may know, my ultimate preference is a SWB TT. Should I do it? Reality is that I won't be in a position to afford my preffered Zed. All thoughts and opinions welcome. Daffy.
  10. Why would they not inform you of the issues that may arise specific to your wheels before starting/you paying for the job. That combined with the complete lack of after sales care and I'd be fuming like you. Too many companies are too quick to take your hard earned without giving the quality of work in return. Gutted for you bud.
  11. I spy a Tamiya logo.
  12. Is that Josh's company? Seen some nice cars via Facebook from them .
  13. Nice. Something a bit different without being vulgar. Look forward to the updates.
  14. Built from 3x2 stud work at 400 centres with noggins at 1200, clad in rebated feather edge board. 7x2 rafters with OSB and Fibreglass roof. Pre loved French doors of a friend, and sign courtesy of an appreciative relative. Daffy.
  15. In that case why are 4 and 1/4" linings a standard size? Along with 5 and 1/4" for 4x2 stud work(obviously). 3x2 is absolutely fine for Groovers particular application.
  16. I'm guessing I'm older than you Tom, but I want to be like you when I grow up. Hats off to you
  17. Nice work. Think you must have an eye for this sort of thing as if this is your first ever attemp at it I'm seriously impressed.
  18. Get yourself some Britemax twins.
  19. Evening guys and girls. Just wondered if anyone lives in or near Barnsley? I've won something on eBay that is collect only. I'm hoping someone can collect it and forward it to me if possible. I'll pay for your time, post and packing etc. Thanks in advance, Daffy.
  20. What did you pay for it? Surely that's a good starting point for any valuation?
  21. Not much to add to the well considered and worded replies above. Perhaps consider Zed Zone instead of Shed. Would love the low mileage swb you have listed but unfortunately my budget dictates otherwise. I wish you all the best in your venture. Daffy.
  22. Grab a tea/beer/Guinness/wine and have a read through it all bud. It's worth it :cool2:
