  1. Looks like a very similar crash to what I had in my HSV in 2010. 450bhp and greasy roads, 180 spin at 20mph, smashed into a curb and buckled the axle and bent the subframe. Conditions can catch out even the most experienced driving. Glad everyones ok, and hope he gets to buy the car back.
  2. There are many names I wish to call you now. None of them polite.
  3. This may be of help Sarah: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174542-Perspex-strip
  4. I've only had the car 9 months and I already have a garage full of spare bits in various states of repair, including brand new bits.
  5. You can extend right up to your boundary to the sides. Although each local authority can see the rules in different ways. You will need to speak to your local planning office and ask their advice. You will need planning permission for what you want to do though. I only offer this advice as it's what I have found out in the past few months as I have just got planning permission for a 2 story side extension.
  6. Normally your browser. Most default to User/documents/downloads
  7. I know what you mean. Obviously I'd only get a genuine OEM timing belt, and the rest of the stuff is new radiator brackets and bushes and clips. As well as brand new scuttle panels and a new bonnet latch mechanism. Just replacing tired and worn trim really with OEM. Got a KestralDA6 on order too so that I can tackle the swirl marks on the paint, and also stocked up on wet and dry paper so I can sort the alloy wheel dishes. Working away is a pain though. I'm so busy at the moment I can only get a few hours here and there on it. My aim is to be 80% done for Coventry in July.
  8. Over the past month or so I've been collecting a steady Shipley of parts and kit. The final bits arrived today from CZP: This is on top of the new exhaust, the 350z steering wheel, new silicone hoses and couplings, alloy reverb, subframe and diff bushes etc etc. Just need to find the time now!
  9. Just remember MOT regs say you need a visual indication that rear fog lights are on. So you would near to ensure a light is wired in behind the button.
  10. I think he means he has no cruise, just the blank where the cruise buttons would be (same as on my car).
  11. Whiteline bushes come with the shroud too IIRC. Certainly their subframe bushes do.
  12. There'll be a few announcements after Easter. That'll include information on time cut offs etc.
  13. Sounds like a good run out for the Zed when it comes out of hibernation.
  14. Being an NA it reduces it's appeal to many. Though it's a shortie which is good. I think the price is OK, but that front bumper and especially those rear lights will be putting people off (in my opinion)
  15. http://www.courtesyparts.com/49521n-socket-assy-tie-rodinner-300zx-z32-1990-1996-p-34664.html ??
  16. ECU on right, auto box ECU on left. Assuming this is passenger footwell.
  17. I'm just a simple sailor, all those guys above will be better CV's than mine :) Sent it anyway.
  18. PM me an email address bud
  19. http://www.rsalloy.co.uk/ I know a couple of folks who have used these without issue. Not used them myself though. There's also SEM in Sunderland (not always the easiest to deal with) and Romax in Stockton (who are hit and miss at best)
  20. Fair point. I think it was about 10-12 hours per wheel last time I did it (excluding drying time between coats). Hoping to be a bit quicker this time as I'll be using polishing mops and compounds rather than just wet n dry.
  21. Not fancy tackling them yourself? I'll be doing mine next month (including polished dish)
  22. That's a similar set-up to what I am researching. Just about to purchase a Alpine CDE-178 (single din) and planned on getting one of Alpines small amps with it too.
  23. This any good for you? http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1074857#post1074857
  24. I think I posted the wrong list as I have the list you posted too!
