FAO FunkiSi - 350z steering wheel fitted
This is all I have pic wise at the moment. I'll get a better distance shot soon. (Ignore the mess in the car - detritus from today's work)

FAO FunkiSi - 350z steering wheel fitted
I like it. It's a nice steering wheel to use (had a 350z for 2.5 years so I know I like the wheel). It's 100 times better than the Momo one that was on previous. I'll probably redo the leather trim at some point as I didn't do a good a job as I would like.

What did you do to your zed today?
Been a busy boy today. Fitted the new exhaust (it won't be staying, I don't like the look). Found out the one I took off is a Fujitsubo swb exhaust. Think I may try and get it repaired. Replaced the upper radiator brackets/bushes/rod clips. Replaced the last of the silicone couplers with black and mikalor clamps. Replaced the scuttle panels with brand new items. Finished off the 350z steering wheel. Taxed it and drove it for the first time in November.

FAO FunkiSi - 350z steering wheel fitted
Si, you were curious as to what the wheel would look like once fitted. I got round to finishing it today. I covered the normally silver bits in faux leather that Si from Hide n seat kindly donated to me.

I'm afraid my passenger seat has already been claimed mate.

Falcon Performance Meet - 4th May
I'll be there. In the Zed too. She's coming out of hibernation today and I have a full afternoon to get as much work done as possible.

Can any of you flock?
Amazing, you send it off and your car becomes LHD and a completely different model! ;) I look forward to the results Si. It's on my list, but so far down that I can't even see it! I tick one item off and add another 6. I blame you. I never went in for OEM standard in previous cars, but you've converted me!

So where are you now?
9 years I spent working on that kind of ship (various sizes). I gotta say I don't miss it!

So where are you now?
I'm through in Bishop a fair bit as my best mate lives through there. Pint in the Red Aligator some time. The boat is heading back down to the Forth once we float on Thursday/Friday. I think we're due to do a rig shift in Invergorden next month though, so I'll let you know.

So where are you now?
Yeah, still some distance between the places, and the roads are crap too. Not to mention that Fraserburgh isn't exactly the greatest place on the Earth! Population of 12,500 split between about 5 surnames....

So where are you now?
I'd post up a pic of our Engine Room, but it's in bits at the moment so looks an absolute state. Chainblocks and valves everywhere.

So where are you now?

steering wheels
Early cars are 3 spoke design with no airbag. Airbag wheel (as shown above) was optional from late '92 and standard from late '94.

So where are you now?
Bottom of a dry dock in Fraserburgh.

Apologies for the naivety here, but are you suggesting I am a keyboard warrior?

'other' Forums
Keyboard warriors. Every forum has them. Including this one. And if you think UK forums are bad.....try the US forums. No prisoners taken.

I can put you in touch with someone who will sell you a full set of brembo's from a 350z if you're interested, possibly even has some brembo's from a 370z too. I can't remember what the going rate is at the moment though.

Must have changed his mind Ian, he PMd me yesterday about my slicktop. Certainly can't get kids in the back of that!
