  9. A leaking rad cap has 2 effects...the pressurised water escapes into the expansion tank then because air is drawn in at cool down the system cant create vacume which normaly draws water back up from the tank to top the system back up...so in reality you now have a "total loss" cooling system.

  14. Take the cams out 1st then pressure test each pot with compressed air down the plug holes....give you a better idea before lifting the heads or actually its easier to pull the motor out to remove heads on these cars.
  15. The mechanical marks on the pullys and crank will though...As Mark has stated work to the belt lines and it will be right.
