  3. After more rooting and reading ive just found out i can achieve 200vdc from the speed controler out of a treadmill...should be able to find a knacked one off the Bay...cheers anyway
  4. Iff the solenoids are in the bin Tom then not only will you lose the dett sensor but also the reduced boost on a stone cold motor feature...Ok for true petrol heads who dont cane there cars on a cold motor;)
  5. I have 2 large electro magnets that ime using for a project at home..they are rated at 207vdc. Ive been driving them with 35vdc as thats all i can achieve and allthough still very strong at that voltage they will be monsters with 207 volts running through them,so my question for our Electronic heads is whats the best and most reliable way to convert 240acv to 207dcv?? ime thinking something along the lines of a DC motor speed controler..is this right?
  6.:rofl::rofl: thats funny but this whole thread is shocking..
  7. get to Asda mate and buy a couple of cheap bed sheets and get the front end covered untill its done...then use em as car dust covers later

  10. The thing with Ting Tong gear these days is the low price is now out the window as another Chinese Factory down the road will make them cheaper so they have started upping the stakes in quality to gain buyers...ime buying 18mm plywood sheets atm £5 cheaper than current Brazilian stocks and there pretty good quality, and yes made in China but when your buying upto 50 sheets a month then its a good saving..Sorry for the side track here:blush:
  11. I paid very good money for a trio of Greddy gauges once...Made in China it said on the boxes:wack:.I must say though there tooling has improved a lot recently but i still would,nt buy Engine products off them like the small 3 to 8hp Honda engine snides called Licon or summit

  14. mine stays as it hides my cracked screen
  15. it would of been the top of the tank..the filler tube just sits in with not a water tight seal. Iff you run with a leaking tank at the bottom mate then any coolant that expands off from the rad will not be able to get sucked back in so in theory you will be running a total loss cooling system iff that makes sense.
  16. Oh sorry mate ile start again slowly.....get a fkin mophead and hang out the window:tongue:
  17. Damm...thought the link was regarding hanging Pheasant:huh:
  18. The overflow tank is there for water to be returned to the rad by a syphonic effect on cool down when the cooling system creates vacume....as stated above water filling is done via the rad
  19. I tried piegon once but there was nothing on it...needed 15 of em for a feed:crying:
