  4. you need one of these mate..only a few quid and worth there weight in gold
  5. looks well mate:thumbup1: just done mine in satin black...i used a small file and rub it flat across the Nissan logo..
  6. Chinese motor and pump mate:thumbdown:...the offloader small air line going to the switch sounds like its sticking and when its trying to re-start the motor is fighting against pressure. Get yourself to machine mart and buy a new start switch or there cheap enough on ebay..you will have to adjust the pressure switch to your desired closing psi by taking the black cover off (1 phillips screw) and on top theres a spring loaded bolt with directional arrows stamped in. By the sounds of your problem its deffo the unloader stuck or next bet if thats ok the start capacitor on the motor.
  7. well send the missus in there untill its safe again...
  8. looking at your pics showing the rubber above window..ide say your window is not set right as its crushing the rubber on one side.
  9. Great info Dicky...not the same as mine but now i have a resistor value to work with...thanks for your help
  10. any pics..is it an alloy high speed pump or a cast iron. Should be a sight glass if its alloy
  11. dont have this on back only light feed wire
  12. i bet you its one of them intregral motor/pump units....3 things to check in this order 1 Start capacitor 2 pressure release valve that goes from switch to tank (the unit that makes the hiss when it switches off) 3 stator coils on motor these intregral units with direct motor shaft-pump shaft are underpowerd imho when the recievers are over half full and thats when your motor draws its max amps to re-start,There not like belt driven pumps with a ratio difference in pully sizes from motor to pump which aids low power motors.
  13. The zed dimmer wont dim these LED gauges i have...ive put an inline switch on the ilumination feed for now to enable me to turn the lights off at night. Who the fk thought it was a good idea to have built-in LED,s as a light sorce i dont know:headvswal What ime going to do is delete the feed wire and drill small bulb holder holes at the back and go the normal route with normal bulbs which will enable me to dim the buggers from the dash.
  14. it does,nt have that facility..i dont think anyway
  15. ive got a seperate feed Graham
  16. cheers lads..i cant get into the gauges as they are a fixed LED and not changable.
  17. there ideal for keeping an eye on the internals via evidence..the auto,s have a magnet in the bottom of the gearbox sump from the factory
  18. nice one Graham...another zed on the road for 12 months:thumbup1:
  19. Hello festive chaps...Ive fitted 3 Stack gauges to my pillar pod and they have built-in LED white lights but they are far too bright:thumbdown: I cant wire them into the dimmer system as then the speedo lights become so dim i cant see them so my question is can i put some kind of a resistor in-line to reduce the brightness of the gauges??? and what value will that resistor be???.
  20. Oh no Richard how ironic that your 2 cars have been changed and your missus Julia is still waiting..LOL amunition for women sulks there mate. Tell her for her own safety it is better if she has the original bulbs and maybe just maybe you can pull it off:innocent:
