  1. bunch of tarts :p
  2. Best retro style car ever tbh, i reckon they are very nice, only for women mind, wouldn't catch me with one lol.
  3. Was good to start with, but series 2 turned to shit quickly.
  4. I went and had a look, and yes you can see the whole top of the injector assembly, a good view too with the throttle cover off. OK then, sounds likely the injector is working if it sounds exactly like the others, is the plug wet with fuel? If you've got fuel and spark then you've either got no compression or its just majorly flooded.
  5. yeah, if I remember, its a metal bit you can see from the top. edit - yes, it will sound like a scooby and shake the car to fook.
  6. rattling? should just chug a bit with a cylinder down.
  7. Just because its ok electronically doesn't mean the mechanics havent broken in it.
  8. I mean just press it against the top part of the injector which you can see, and put your ear against the handle and listen, you should be able to hear a distinct ticking from it.
  9. No 4 seat turbo's or slicktops either. That must be US only, even fi it is, i'd be surprised so few are TT's
  10. i'd say there were a LOT more than 10k made, they were big in the states. My chassis no. is in the 5900's and that is a 91. I gather that would be say the 5900th LWB turbo, so including NA's, SWB's, convertables and slicktops that would make a lot more, and they were made until 2000.
  11. Put a screwdriver tip against the injector and listen for if its clicking through the handle. If its not, you know its dead or not recieving a signal. All injectors have a contant 12v feed and are switched on the earth. Only way really to tell if the signal is getting through ok would be to hook it up to an oscilloscope, signal chages too fast really to register on a multimeter, you might have some degree of success though. I assume you have confirmed the spark and compression are good?
  12. 9.5psi = stock boost, 7 = safety. Stock gauge are shite, of course you're new one could well be faulty, or maybe a kinked hose to it? Its probably right though.
  13. why 2 gauges? Seems very strange the vac side works but not boost. Stock gauge is crap but is good enough to show if there's no boost! I can only think the gauges are faulty.
  14. give it a good smack with a mallet, might help. Wouldn't be surprised if it was knackered though being a zed lol :p
  15. I know theres a bunch of threads allready but I reckon these guys need a thread of their own. Wheelman - what can I say, you're a star, a real top bloke and I can't thank you enough for the door to door service! Nice yellow zed too, was great to feel the rush of a twin turbo again after so long, gave me a push to get mine working again. Chunk - another one who drove me around lol, thanks buddy it doesn't go unappreciated. As for fookin off on saturday, you tart! And my camera is still in your glovebox mate. Madhamster - bbq grub was top notch as usual, tesco run was fun. Despite what anyone else might have to say, I think you're zed is great, by the sounds of it, what you have done with it is a real achievement. Love the sound too, NA really does sound best, fantastic roar on the road, I hope you made it home okay with the dodgy radiator. Daves new zx - big thanks for bringing the parts from courtesy for me, i'll get busy with it as soon as I can think straight again lol. Lets not forget everybody else though, was good to meet all the old faces again and meet some new members. Not least MickeyB, be careful with that Spinksy NOS mate, it can be dangerous
  16. Ah crap, knew I should have stayed away from that seedy ChrisC character :p I'm just glad nobody got a pic of our visit from Emma of 'two brutal' at 4.30am, I'll say nothing more lol.
  17. Nah took it off, feels like i'm still wearing it though due to the lack of sunburn where it was lol :D
  18. Don't like it tbh, arches are wide enough on them as they are.
  19. Age

20, the zed is just a garage ornament though, maybe I don't count.
  20. 525i Touring, jobs a good'un :p
  21. Seems ok yes, all depends on how popular the torrent is. The latest tv shows the day after airing will usually max out a connection. Bitcomet is a bit oldskool now though tbh, uTorrent is the flavour of the day, smaller, faster, easier to configure/use, and the RSS extension stands to be very good, i've never managed to make it work though. I have a 2mb line with 256k upstream and after much experimentation have found the optimal upstream speed to be 17kb/s.
  22. They fit Skylines too, seen an R33 with them on, looked pretty rubbish though to be fair.
  23. only the Autech edition of the Stagea has ATTESSA and the RB26. As for text speak, it just makes you look like a retard, do yourself a favour and speak properly.
  24. It would probably be better to have the trans cooler above or next to the engine oil cooler, doub't it would make a huge difference though.
