  1. I'd sooner take the new 4.2 NA audi, 8000rpm you know, forget that twin turbo junk ;)
  2. btw, you can tell if you are in safety on datascan because the boost solenoids will never come on.
  3. not that cool tbh, everybody knows its a truck engine.
  4. Steady on daz, you know you would have to ditch the rad to fit those fat pulleys in :p
  5. dunno if youy can attach the .log files. If not email it me at clarkeyboy6@hotmail.com
  6. i'll take a look if you like.
  7. Too many people breaking zeds for no reason imo, won't be any left soon.
  8. need to raise that suspension up buddy ;) Thought it was crazy low at JAE. Bad luck though :(
  9. my dad had that charger for as long as I can remember. Been dropped a few times and still works fine, quality item ;)
  10. well, its going back together now. Top marks to b19rks who supplied me with a water pump next day, ordered at 4pm too!
  11. Happy birthday Mike, have a good'un :duffer:
  12. Real shame :( Diamater too large or wouldn't clear the spokes?

    nay
  14. T top glass is toughened stuff surely? Anyway zeds don't have deadlocks unless you've had them fitted, thats if you can do that. If the key wont turn its because you haven't used the door lock in ages and its siezed up, spray tonnes of WD40 in there and it will free up.
  15. Deadlocks on a 300? First i've heard of that. Anyway, find something accessible with a permanent live feed and hook up a battery charger to it. I don't know what does have a perm live feed with the ignition off, somebody must though. There are other ways of gaining entry to a locked 300zx, but for obvious reasons I won't discuss that on here. edit - duh, no need to break in if you have the key lol, as Bazza says ;)
  16. will if you get the right ones ;)
  17. To be fair i'd be pretty pissed off too if someone took ages starting a knackered diesel at 6am every day. I'd be the one tempted to curl one out on your bonnet tbh, look at it from your neighbours point of view. You might be the one to end up with the ASBO not anyone else.
  18. apparently there is a bleed valve on the block somewhere, hard to get at so I gather.
  19. Rad swap really is a piece of piss, just remove the splash guard, cap off, undo lower hose, undo top hose, pull lower fan shroud off, undo top brackets, lift it out, drop new one in, reconnect hoses, brackets etc.. fill up, done. Take about an hour, 2 if you work real slow.
  20. Not much else to do without new tubs tbh, theres better IC's, bigger injectors but with stock turbo's you won't really be taking advantage of them. Take the windows out, that will make it feel quicker
  21. hmm yes the new MX5 is a styling disaster, then again they never were very pretty. S2000 is the only Roadster worth having imo.
  22. out of interest how much are new studs? I've got a fooked one on each wheel where some dumbass :o put the wrong nuts on.
  23. That is truly awful, worst 300zx i've seen.
  24. Shouldn't be free turning, should offer some resistance. Anyway if its running at high speed all the time the clutch is buggered, you need a new one. Oh and theres no such thing as an upgrade to an electric fan, thats always a downgrade imo.
  25. yeah its pretty cold these days had to close my windows up for the first time in weeks.
