  1. In order of preference FD RX7 R33 GTR E36 M3
  2. BOV's should be installed as close to the throttles as possible, keeps the air moving through the whole system, which is what its supposed to do.
  3. I've a mate who MIGHT be interested, i'll find out tomorrow.
  4. I'm sorry to hear about your brother, however calling them deathtraps is completely irrational. Jamming throttles is not a common problem on them. However throttles sticking wide open IS a common issue on zeds, maybe you should get shut of that as soon as you can.

they have the 3 rotor engine right?
  6. don't bother, they suck :p those split rims on the zed looks fantastic, have them refurbed and they will be superb, especially with a mirror polished rim. anyway, from looking at the pics, the offset on the mr2 ones looks small, the zed needs quite a lot to clear the brakes.
  7. detting won't cause a code 34, 34 only means there is a problem with the det sensor circuit. As for misfiring at high rpm, might be plugs, bad PTU maybe.
  8. better get bidding on his next quction then, he has a number of these listed, along with the decat pipes.
  9. who cares what parts are in it, thats a seriously sexy motor.
  10. fook :( a sad loss, RIP DAB1..
  11. being pedantic, it is power window lock :p and quite right, you cannot lock the drivers door while it is open. Seems to me like there is nothing wrong, cause of it not locking and unlocking automatically is almost certainly your alarm going tits up. edit - and why come on here trying to be a clever dick when people are trying to help.
  12. don't sumitomo make the calipers on 300's too?
  13. 2 threads on this in a week, yet this thing has been out for ages.

Always amuses me when people go on about the torque output of Honda engines when in actual fact it is excellent. Maybe it is because the power output is so high people compare them to forced induction engines, obviously there is less torque than an equally sized FI would have.

how much is the vectra worth and what is wrong with the 300 that he wants rid of it?

Exactly, responsive high revving NA is going to be easier to drive and thus more fun than a laggy turbo one.

i'd say an NSX would be a lot more fun. A pure machine, with exquisite handling perfected by Ayrton Senna himself, not a bunch of computers.
