As I understand it the area we have been allocated will hold 50 -70 cars depending on how they're parked. I must say that the weather forecast is not good at the moment (but I was castigated for saying that about Billing) However I will bring along the Z Club Shop Marquee which will offer us sufficient covered space. (you must bring your own chairs)! The shop will be open during the daytime, there will be an urn and a fridge and I will be supplying hot and cold drinks. I am willing to go for all 3 days but will only attend on Friday if there are several people to help me put the marquee up.

don't forget that the 'well respected' Chief Constable of Notts has taken out a High Court Injunction which prevents more than 4 vehicles travelling together within this county. Don't know the full details of it but the aim is to prevent the boy racers causing the usual trouble.

I have reeceived the first printing and these will be posted out tomorrow. Line 4 now reads, 'I WAS IN THE PARADE OF 167 Z CARS.' I can still take orders for these plaques, details of how to order are above.

Just so that some of you who are not aware of what goes on can be informed of the effort that goes in to organising these events. the Z Club have been going to Billing for donkeys years. It was the Z Club that initiated what you now know to be JAE. When JAE left for Peterborough the Z Club continued to go to Billing as it had become a traditional thing, as well as attending the JAE. It appears that the majority of our members prefer the 'peace' of Billing to the hum drum atmosphere of JAE and Billing receives a far more favourable turn out as a result. Unfortunately when we booked Billing for this year for our 30th Birthday Party, due to admin problems at Billing this was the only weekend available to us so we took it. A few weeks after this booking the dates for JAE were announced. There was nothing we could do to alter things. We had already invited all other Z related clubs to attend our birthday party. Your committee decided that it would also be your main event, not us. I should also mention that some unscrupulous shits (not members of any z club) took advantage of our date at Billing to attempt to run an alternative JAE under the Z Club Banner. Along with the admin staff at Billing we have tried to stop this but Billing have relented and some clubs will still be attending. I hope you all have a great time with us at Billing. I also hope that you will attend JAE too as I know that a great deal of work goes into organising that event. It isn't easy trying to satisfy everyone. If you have any compalints about Billing then you must sort it out with your committee. Similarly if you have anything constructive to say that makes JAE a more enjoyable event then I do know that the organisers want to hear it. They strive very hard to make an enjoyable weekend for everyone. It is no good muttering amongst yourselves but not making your feelings known to the organisers.

Also does anyone live in/near Northampton who could do a small favour for me please. Still need some more traders to attend. Yes I agree about the Z32 will try to get it altered on the final print but can't promise on that. Will Alter the printing on line 4. BTW Craig D I think we all had Silverstone Plague for a couple of days afterwards. Too much adrenaline and all that sun!

Have you heard the news, FIA are going to investigate mclarens win at monaco (probably because ferrari didnt win). IMO senna will always be the best, when he died, schmacher was in 2nd place and he'll always stay there. Yes hes done amazing things and won loads of races, but he has had the best car on the track. Massa wasnt amazing a few years ago but now he is (as hes in a ferrari), barrichello was great at ferrari (he could have been better then schmacher but he always had to stay in 2nd place) and now you never see him. You could put albers in a mclaren or a ferrari and he'd probably be in 1st 2nd or 3rd every race. Its not like the olden days where the drivers actually had some skill, its all down to what car your in. :slap: No sh!t, schey's been alive and racing for longer The only way your going to tell whos the best is if you put everyone in the same car, but thats never gonna happen.
