Who is coming to Zedfest 2008
pm sent to Emero. Had a word with the caterer. It will be very difficult for him to cater for special diets but he can do jacket potato with various fillings and veggie lasagnia. Best to bring your own if in any doubt but if you speak to him when you arrive he will try to accomodate you.

Chefs Special
I don't eat out often but I enjoy reading the menus to see what concoctions are available for my delectation. Below are just a few 'starters' and perhaps you may be able to add to them. WILD MUSHROOMS. Where do they get them from? Are they a particular breed called wild? Do they grow wild? Do the chefs rush out early in the morning to collect them before everyone else gets up? DRIZZLED WITH. What's wrong with poured over? HAND CUT CHIPS. WTF? WILD ROCKET. As mushrooms or do they all rush out the day after bonfire night and collect up all the fallen rockets before the little kids get out. Am I wrong? Do you take notice of this flowery prose or is it just to push the already over inflated prices up even more? There are loads more out there but if I carry on no-one else can have a go.

oh to be a bat!
This one surely takes some believing and it's not even April! Taken from todays Nottingham Evening Post. TEENAGE GIRL: I FOUND A BAT IN MY BRA! A teenager spoke of her shock after finding a bat curled up in the bra she had been wearing for five hours. Abbie Hawkins, 19, initially thought it was her mobile phone causing movement in her clothing. But when she investigated, she found the stowaway creature, hidden in the padding pocket of her 34FF black bra. "I did not notice anything as I put my bra on. The night before I had had one or two drinks and I was getting ready quickly," said the hotel receptionist. "The bra was in my drawer but it had been on the washing line the day before. "When I was driving to work, I felt a slight vibration but I thought it was just my mobile phone in my jacket pocket." Later, after eliminating her phone as the cause of the movement, she discovered a baby bat. "I just lost my breath when I saw it and I did not know what it was at first," she said. The bat escaped to a dark corner of the office, before being captured by a colleague and released. "Once I realised it was a bat I was shocked, but then I felt quite sorry for it really," said Miss Hawkins, who lives and works in Norwich. "It looked very snug in there and I thought how mean I was for disturbing it."

Euro 2008
until tonight my money would have been on Holland. Tonight they never had a chance. Russia walked all over them and were by far the better team. I doubt they'll reach the final but you never know. Tonight the best team won.

Benefits
I walked through the town centre today with an old mate who 'works for a government agency' We noticed a couple who were looking in a jewellers shop window. She was all excited about the gold necklaces they were going to buy and he was giving it all the snaf expressions about what was on display. In the shop they spent £500! Three weeks ago she was ICU'd in the presence of her solicitor, who whilst she was complaining about her neighbours grassing her up had said, "What do you expect when you keep on burglaring their houses?" Both are 'druggies' under the same roof but he does not live there! She is on full benefits with all the bells and whistles and he's having his cake and eating it. Does the government care?
