350z?
I have a 350 roadster and it is the biz. I'm really pleased with it. problems: after March 06 reg road tax is £400 pa before that it's 'normal' click from rear axle is a common fault, nothing to worry about but costs over £200 per side to fix unless under warranty. dealer service charges are ridiculous on some models bose cd changer skips tracks again can be changed under warranty also there can be a faulty connexion to the left hand door speaker. other than that buy one and keep smiling. There are plenty of bargains out there. A mate of mine bought one with very high milage and he is also thrilled by it.

Capital punishment. What do you think?
Every few days there are horrific murders reported in this country which seem to be senseless, with no real motive. About 2 years ago there was the murder of 11 year old Rhys Davis, who was shot by a teenager whilst on his way home from football practice. About 3 weeks ago there was the report of a lad who was tied to a tree, made to drink petrol and then incinerated. Dano Sonnex and Nigel Farmer brutally tortured and stabbed two French students, and the psychopathic Sonnex threatened to bite off the officer's face who arrested him. Yesterday, Jade Braithwaite 20 years, Michael Alleyne 18 years and Juress Kika, 19 years were sentenced to a minimum of 19 years for the murder by stabbing of 16 year old Ben Kinsella. This trio pursued a group of lads because one of the group had 'dissed' them with a look and mercilessly stabbed Ben. When being led to the cells they mocked the bereaved family and friends. Grieving families left to mourn for ever, whilst psychopathic scum sue our pathetic government if their porridge has got lumps in it. Apart from the deterrent effect of capital punishment, just think of the money we'd save on keeping the 'perps' incarcerated. I don't advocate 'topping' people for all murders, but certainly in cases such as the above it would make me, the bereaved, and in fact all decent people feel safer and happier to see proper justice meted out. Where do we go from here? Even when the Tories get in it won't happen, and we'll be still living in a country where scum rule ( no I don't mean MPs, I mean the street criminals.)

letter on ceefax
I make no apologies for reproducing this letter which was on BBC Ceefax yesterday. I think it puts across how I and most of us feel. ' What on earth has happened to our country? We allow Muslim extremists to insult our soldiers, consider amnesty for all illegal immigrants and do not deport those that break our laws, denigrate British born Christians and treat brave and gallant Gurkhas like 2nd or 3rd class citizens. Have we bocome mice instead of men? Where has our national pride gone?'

Heater problem / Radiator Flush
After an overheating problem my heater is now not getting hot, it appears to be an air lock. Ive tried very hard to bleed it but without success. Thinking the heater was blocked, ive removed the inlet and outlet pipes and blown a hpsepipe both ways into the heater and it passes clear water. Has anyone got any suggestions to where else there is a blockage? The temp guage reads normal, but the engine is getting very hot.

Midlands meet: Sunday 8th March 2009
It was a good meet. I didn't count but lots of people there (I would guess about 45 including friends & family). All 4 clubs represented. Z club,300zx,co.uk, 300zx-club.com, 350Z-uk.com. Roll on some more meets. It was a bit cold and a bit wet but we all enjoyed it plus the licensee has asked us back so we must have been good!

Midlands meet: Sunday 8th March 2009
I’ve been down to the White post Inn and spoken with the assistant manager. They will try to cone off part of the car park for us but not promising this as it is a busy day for them. A part of the dining room will be set aside for us which seats up to 60 people so we should have a nice meeting area. A full menu is available including Sunday lunch. Pricing is 2 for 1 on main course only. Eat at what time you like. Obviously it’s easier for them if groups of people order together rather that a large group sit down at once. The welcome seems pleasant already. I hope to see you all there.

is this right?
"The better your brakes are, the quicker you'll be able to go. " I have just read this on another forum. I know it's early in the morning and I can't sleep but it just doesn't seem right to me.
