the z club go every year and have a really good time. They arrange accomodation etc. I think Suzy advertises the trip on here too.

there's a post on the z club site. Someone going has a spare seat and would like a passenger to share expenses. Seems very reasonable

I was a traffic cop for 20 years and dealt with and photographed many fatal accidents. In those days we were never allowed to take pictures while the bodies were in situ. Obviously things have changed today. As part of the job I used to visit many shows with the Accident Unit and built up quite a display of the mangled car pictures which always aroused tremendous interest. People of all ages were stunned by what they saw. It was up to them whether they looked or not but the general concensus was that the horrific pictures would make them take more care in the future. I think that the publics quest for more blood and gore is ever rising and is fed by the media who always seem to want to be in first with the shock picture. It appears that this Chief constable has beated them to it on this occasion. I do not speak in his defence as I feel that he was wrong to show such pictures without the families consent . Nor do I totally agree. with his road policing policies. However his bigger crime would appear to be that he has upstaged the media and done something that they have not yet dared to and is being castigated for it.

make sure you can get a fog light first. My older son hit a fox about a month ago (did over £3k worth of damage to his brand new Vx Vectra)! He's still waiting for a front fog light, Vx say they're temporarily unavailable. Also I think you may find the bumper is fastened to everything else with torx bolts rather than 'proper ' bolts.

£1k seems a bit high to me but it depends how much you want it. As far as J300TT is concerned a lot depends on your local inspector. In some cases if the mot has only recently expired they will allow the transfer, it may be worth enquiring and getting an opinion.

It appears to me that a lot of unnecessary fuss is being made over this. We have been invited to hold a PARADE lap to celebrate 30 years of the Z marque. that means hopefully 100 + cars driving in a PARADE arouind the circuit. You will drive behind a pace car and unless you are the front two cars you will drive behind everyone else in front of you. you only go as fast as you want, you can't overtake just maintain your position in the PARADE and enjoy it. IT'S NOT A RACE. The only person with a foot on the loud pedal will be YOU.
