Had one as well, mine was pre digital dash though, didnt think it was that bad on fuel considering the way it was usually driven.

Does a tailgate need to open for MOT ?
Yep, Construction & Use regulations and MOT regulations are two different sections of legislation. You can drive out a garage with a brand new (and legit) MOT, get stopped and have the car put of the road for items such as oil leaks, tinted windows, insecure battery.....its a funny old world

May Road Trip
Dear, dear, dear......wimps! Ive done the trip up there after finishing work at 4, getting home, washed, changed, hooking up the caravan travelling up stopping of at Inverness for supplies (beer), and a mackie D, popping in for a visit to my sisters in Ullapool and still been in the campsite sipping a beer by 10:30. Granted the caravan was up on one wheel at times and I had to put everything back in the cupboards when I arrived but that was with a 90hp Pug, not with a 300hp grand tourer.....but hey ho! if thats what you want  Yep of course we can change things around, we can discuss at our next meet in.... February. No probs, just let us know

May Road Trip
North by North West 21st May 2010 Friday Morning meet up at Stirling services. Fort William via Glencoe, stop for lunch. Then on towards Applecross via the Bealach na Ba. Camp overnight in Applecross which has a nice wee pub.......sorted!. http://applecross.uk.com/inn/index.htm Saturday A jont up the coast road to Ullapool. Camp overnight, a good selection of pubs and eating places so we can decide when we get there! http://www.ullapool.com/Default.aspx?Locid=03n00e There is also a chip shop, chinees takeaway and an Indian restaurant Sunday To be confirmed, but likely to be the Aviemore area. As long as theres grub and a pub. Monday Homeward bound. There isnt a great deal of travelling on the Saturday and Sunday planned, if you want I can change things around a bit probably easier if we discuss it at the next meeting And of course, rather than eating out all the time we could opt to cook at the campsite "beans anyone" So Who's Going 1. Ossian 2. Berrica 3. Shrek

May/June Road Trip
Hows about the Friday 21 May, thats the week before the bank holiday so the roads shouldnt be quite as busy, and should be just before midge season! What do you fancy Friday to Monday, Friday to Sunday, or leaving on the Saturday? Dates & times negotiable, the destination aint! Gimmie some feedback then I will set the date

Free At Last

Amazing low temp
Nope we still think its fookin baltic. Have seen it at -24 here years ago though. That was fun at 5 in the morning trying to get a fleet of artics mobile with all the air lines and even the diesel freezing!
-
Who could do this in the northwest?
lol note to self....whatch the whole fookin clip... I skipped through a big chunk of it, including the part where they welded in the top section of the strut tube.
-
Who could do this in the northwest?
So the strut insert just slips inside the outer tube????? Am I missing something???? because that just isnt going to work unless they are only planning on driving the car on perfectly even roads and at low speeds!
