  1. :hurl: Thats all that porn your exposed to!
  2. Yep think I better put myself down for some retraining
  3. Replied Craig, sorry Im not long back from the meet, ( and a bit of detour on the way home - its good to have a blast about empty roads now and again :) ) Unfortunaley I went straight from work so missed your message. Hopefully you can make the next meet....with the Z. And thanks to all who turned up It was good to see you all again, and a good chat, though it is a bit worrying when men start boasting about their red rings whilst meeting up in a dark car park!
  4. you obviously need a wee refresher course Not in anyway true!
  5. Thats always good news :)
  6. Maybe next year! How are you coming along with the project? I'm thinking on sticking up a journal of the work that I did, (better late than never). it might be of some use to others who are considering doing the same. Do you think it would be a help, or more likely to scare folk off?
  7. Steven Segal has played lots of varied roles! He's an ex navy seal - they killed his family - now hes out for revenge! He's an ex green beret - they killed his family - now hes out for revenge! He's an ex FBI agent - they killed his family - now hes out for revenge! He's an ex cop - they killed his family - now hes out for revenge!
  8. believe me that will be a good turn out. Davidlyall258 will probably turn up as well.
  9. Looks like its gonna be a good turn out then :) Not many Z's though! see you all about 7:30pm then.
  10. The Carbon one does look nice, but is it really worth the extra. The M sport wheel is something I'm looking to change to at some point,as I think they have modelled the standard steering wheel on an ERF's. Saying that (worryingly) I am getting used to it.
  11. Yeh I was in the white Z, three days is a pretty good turnaround time, what garage is it going to?
  12. If its classics, this has to be included
  13. Me too! lol
  14. Hi Pablo, youve been hiding a while. Was that you waving back a couple of weeks ago in Grahams Road. A cylinder head on one of these aint going to be a 2 minute job, but fingers crossed it gets done in time for the meet
  15. I will try to avoid dates for other events, I wouldnt mind the Nurburgring trip myself, but think it would be too much of a strain on the funds with holiday time just around the corner. pretty easy on dates to be honest, though April, May and June have been better weatherwise lately, and the midge problem isnt as bad mid June onwards How did you get on with the MOT?
  16. Was cancelled anyway, not enough interest :(
  17. Is there not a difference in UK and Jap dip beam bulb fittments though?
  18. Often if a cell is knacked the electrolite will be discoloured. It can also bubble up after a load is applied to it. Take the caps off and have a look as someone tries to start the car if one of the cells bubbles up and the rest are ok, every chance the battery has had it. Just dont have any naked flames whilst doing it or the fooker will explode in your face. Safety advice: wear goggles :)
  19. Just Gauging Interest Depending on interest I could turn this into a Scottish Region extended outing :) I'm planning on doing a mini tour of North West Scotland late spring/early summer. Up through Glencoe, Fort william then onto the A87. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP70VVpMeMg Cut up through Glen Carron and on towards Applecross http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rubzQiWrS5g&feature=related Stop over in Applecross at the campsite, dinner and a couple of beers at the inn Next day up past Torridon to Ullapool and unfortunately another campsite but this time a good choice of watering holes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QE11uFvM2tM If Im on my own I will probably follow this up to a run up to Durness for an overnight before making my way back down the road, and likewise on the first night I might stop over in Glencoe or Fort William. But I realise most dont have much time of work or understanding otherhalfs, so if anyone else is interested I will vary the number of nights away to suit.
  20. fook what did it fail for...you could have got another punto for that :D
  21. Not by any chance a lady owner, who's really chuffed with herself for managing to top up the oil :smw:
  22. Phone around for prices first before booking a test, lots are now charging the full price £54, but there are some who are discounting. You could easily save yourself £20
