  1. its not strictly a z32 engine.....yeh, its a VG30de (rather than the older vg30e) , but has the single intake system and a quick google reveals it only makes 190hp, 40hp down on that fitted to the Z32.
  2. I gave up on asking for Z bits this year, unless I actually buy it myself with my own money then Santa aint going to deliver it. Plus the bits I need/want now have too many zero's prevailing their price tag. Went with some bits to jazz up my PC instead, plus a Netbook and the usual clothes, chocs, alcohol.
  3. Production and supply of the orignals stopped many years back, and the last stock was seling for a few hundred each ! Somebody is making replica's for about $100 , but I cant remember the name, Im sure I've linked them in the past if you want to search old posts.
  4. yeh, Im there on one of the Trade only days - 13th Jan I think
  5. if your after New, then MJP in the traders section for all OEM parts.
  6. no, single DIN. The stock surround will only take a single din unit. Some, myself included, modiifed the stock unit or made there own Surround to take a double din and there is a company in japan that sells them also.
  7. Kinda.....I've starting Revision for 4 exams in early Jan. Up to my ears in Calculus, thermodynamics and stress & strain analysis
  8. no, putting 2x 2mm jets in does not give you a 1mm restriction. Still 2mm.
  9. HID Kit - H3 fitment 4500-6000k Also, taking them apart and cleaning them makes a very noticable difference. They may not look dirty inside but they will be.
  10. The duplex stlye of the mr2 is to fake a twin exit setup. The Z's V6 design means it has a proper complete twin system from the engine all the way back. As for tip design - quad, twin...etc anything is available.
  11. The differences are to do with the vehicle wiring, the headlights themselves are the same.
  12. teabagged at the end too
  13. I believe MJP (in traders section) is also an official Stiilen UK dealer. Otherwise - http://www.z1motorsports.com
  14. I seriously would not bother with the Stock boost gauge, its useless - innaccurate and unreliable - most people disable it and fit an aftermarket gauge. Im presuming you must have the Manual heater controls? Unfortunatly both the Cruise and heater control conversions seem to be a bit of an unknown as to which parts are compatible, as the manual contriols in particular are extremely rare. But If you can get hold of a donor vehicle such as the remains of a breaker then its perfectly feasable to transfer all nessasary parts. These are'nt really series 2 parts, they came with the Series 4 too (boost gauge excluded), its just that they became options rather than standard fitment.
  15. Im not, but my old man has been a HGV Haulage contractor for 40 years * 56mph (90 kph)
  16. Same setup but with 99spec front and Fog ducts(unfitted in pic) , Stripped and Cleaned Headlights, 6k HID's , 21w led Sidelights...and lots of Primer
  17. Thats the Fuel pump ECU/Controller and If its a UK model then shock aborber control unit
  18. Bottled water is a lot cheaper than petrol, about 35p a litre (or cheaper) in Supermarket. Its all about Quantity though - I buy 70-80 litres of petrol per week. I very occasionally buy half a liter of water, which I would consider a luxury item. Unfortunatly there is'nt a "from the tap" fuel alternative.
  19. OMFG. shocking and hilarious. Brake pedals optional extra in China? dude, not cool. Screenburn from too much porn
  20. ^^^ Those are the correct Tyre sizes
  21. A great thread from Jeff on the subject of the Speed Sensor : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=122118&highlight=speed+sensor
  22. U.S Gallon does not equal UK Gallon. A U.S Gallon is 3.7 litres. A U.K Gallon is 4.5 litres 18mpg (u.s) = 22 mpg (uk) city and 24mpg (u.s) = 29 mpg (uk) Highway
  23. I reckon a good 80-90% Z's are running around with either faulty o2 sensors, or with other related fueling issues. With all the ecu diagnostic scans I've done in the past you can almost guarantee finding at least 1 o2 sensor not reading as expected.
