  1. Lol here comes the...........BOOM !!
  2. No its not nessesary or of any benefit to have engine removed for EFI loom replacement. It does not make it any easier for any connectors. It does gives you a little more clearance for getting it though the bulkhead to the ECU - but not a big deal since the the harderst part there is to do with stripping away the glovebox area and heater blower inside the car anyway.
  3. yeh, spade connectors are ok, although if you want it done properly that style of connector is used on most Nissans and should'nt be that hard to source aftermarket. Seem to recall that the White idle connector is a bosch style injector connector.
  4. Impressive. "....to the fictional home of Borat" erm....thats very poor writing. Kazakhstan is not fictional lol
  5. If you just need to fit it in place then the 4 bolts/nuts you need to use anyway will more than hold it in. For permanant fix you need to seal it though, to stop exhaust fumes getting in. I had mine fitted with the bolts for about a year, but eventually sealed it becuase of fumes.
  6. It is yeh, brake light is fully integrated.
  7. Here you go http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/Disabling_Speed_Alarm.pdf
  8. Speed chime goes off at about 65'ish upwards remove the top cown over the speedo (2 screws) The speaker is a black box at the back to the left, connected by yellow and white plug. Its screwed onto a metal bracket. You can just unplug it. That will disable all chimes, or there is a wire you can cut that only disabled the speed chime but I cant remember which, Im sure there is a writeup somewhere. I cant remember if you can see it from just removing the cowl, you may have to pull the clocks out too.
  9. Always MJP for new oem. It will be very expensive though Z1 or Courtesyparts from the U.S, but only worthwhile if your ordering lots of other parts, due to shipping prices.
  10. Nearly all original Nissan parts are still produced and available. I know a few items have been discontinued but where applicable most of these are available as aftermarket pattern options. As mentioned , if you want original new parts, them MJP. You will find him in the Forum traders section. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=38
  11. lol thanks :D
  12. I read the 1st letter of the 1st word of each line, its how I always read stuff  nah...I already read it on the Orange site but forgot to reply. Its a very good write up and Im dissapointed I didnt go.
  13. LOL brilliant
  14. nah, it was all over the net on sunday. As far as I know It was filmed apparantly by some innocent bystanders who had'nt even realised it was stolen at the time. other thread here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=151634
  15. I like it, although cant remember the last time I've even seen any let alone had any......must of been years and years ago
  16. There is a long thread on this from the other day.
  17. yep, most likely PAS fluid low. The hicas has a low fluid sensor on the top of the resevoir. However, dont use dot 5 fluid! You want Dexron II/III/VI Fluid. Does'nt matter which they are all compatible,. Typically listed as Auto transmission and Power steering fluid.
  18. There were 2 main options. Standard or Bose. The bose used a Sony CD player with a Clarion tape deck, connected to four 3.5" speakers with individual amplifiers in each enclosure. I think they may have changed the Headunits over the years, but here an example : Those without the dual units, had a extra centre speaker. Some also had CD multichanger control, with remote changer control in the centre console armrest.
  19. Happy Birthday Andy :happybday:
  20. Car has been found ! :D In the Reading area. Partially stripped, and looks like they attempted to remove some of the stickers but its now been found and recovered with the help of the police.
  21. It may well do at some point I guess, although with the confirmed sightings being down south it may not be local news relevant still. A car being stolen does not make good news, or good publicity. Santa pod site may publish something, if asked to by the police or japseed in a search for assistance, but as can be seen by the TV news report, the story isn't about a car being stolen its about how an online community is helping to track down a stolen car - thats what makes it a news worthy story.
  22. I sky+ the race......just finishd watching the 5.5hrs that it recorded  Absoutely incredible drive from Jenson, amazing.:clap: Had me jumping and shouting at the TV....at 2:30am in the morning, kids got out of bed to find out what was wrong lol ...and I was actually rooting for Schumacher there too :scared:, who also ran a fantastic race despite a far inferior car. Im a fan of Webber but was rhoping Schumacter could hold 3rd place from him there for a podium.
