World Famous Drift Car STOLEN tonight.
Yeh, I'd agree it should be on the Santa pod site. But then it was stolen saturday evening, and its now sunday. If its not been found tomorrow then perhaps the web developer will post it up when he returns to work. Its on the Santa pod Facebook page, and the Japspeed facebook site, and the Japspeed own website - asking people to contact the Northamptonshire police.

World Famous Drift Car STOLEN tonight.
and I dont see why you would expect there to be much official news. I presume by official you mean on the TV and other media. There is something like 500 cars stolen every day in the UK. This car is well known in the Drift scene....but the drift scene is not a popular subject in general UK media. Sure if it had been a "race" car, then we might of seen some Media interest. There are 2 known police officers invovled on the driftworks site about the car and there are official police report numbers.

World Famous Drift Car STOLEN tonight.
Some of the sighting are certainly dubious, and to be expected. No idea why anyone would think its some sort of hoax though.

E10 fuel
The U.S fuel content has higher ethanol than ours, and they do indeed suffer with failing injectors becuase of it. It affects the early style 89-94 Injectors.

World Famous Drift Car STOLEN tonight.
I'd be suprised it it was on National news. Its just a stolen car. I can see a possible news story if its gets found, due to support from everyone online - now thats the sort of story that makes good news.

Where's my boost??
yep. stock solenoids sit either side of of the plenum, black connector that looks different do the typical nissan connectors. You can follow the solenoids, to check you have the right wiring. They sit on the side of the block above the turbos with a vacumn pipe going to the actuator.

Need a multimeter
you dont get specific voltage multimeters, they cover massive ranges. The one in the ebay link for example measures up to 600v ! You just set it in the range you want it in on the dial. Any multimeter will do. If you want to purchase local then Halfords, Argos, B&Q ...etc any will do the job.

Where's my boost??
Depends how your testing for error codes....take the car for a drive, making sure you get into boost then without turning the ignition off test for Error codes. Some codes, like code45, get rest with the ignition. The other possibility is that your stock boost solenoids are not working. If they are not receiving power then you will only ever get 0.5bar boost.

how many left (probly a repost)
The information is about as accurate as asking my Nan , and she does'nt know what a 300zx is...and she's dead. The problem is that very few Imports, which make up the vast majority of the Z's in this country, are rarely listed correctly on the V5 documents. I've seen countless documents with "Nissan Coupe", "Nissan 300SX", "Nissan Sports" and even just "Nissan" listed as the model - and this is the data which that site relies upon. Neither of the 2 V5 docs I have here use the word 300zx anywhere on the document for my Slictop and Previous TT. As Gio says, the only way to get accurate data is to do it by model(chassis) number.

Has anybody driven A Chrysler 300C?
I'd suggest test driving both. You cant really compare the 2 cars. One is the worlds best Executive sports saloon with one of the best diesel engines available, built with top notch build quality with the finest materials with vastly superior sports handling. Its faster, more economical, much better to drive and holds its value better. The other one is....erm...cheap and......different. I quite like its quirky looks, but thats all.

Kweschun about boost......
Have you fitted boost jets or some form of manual boost controller in order to increase the boost ? A Mine ECU does not alter the Boost or provide any significant power gains itself. All it does is provide more appropriate fueling and timing maps to enable you to run higher boost levels, which must be controlled another way. You may notice a slight performance change with just the ECU change, but the real power change comes from raising the boost externally. As for the boost gauge...is yours a Uk or Jap ? +7 on a UK is very different to +7 on a Jap, one is in PSI the other is in mmHGx100 Under the 7 on an Import would indicate the car is in safety mode or has a boost leak. Power will have been significantly reduced. The Stock gauge is not very reliable though, and an aftermarket gauge is always a good idea.

lwb-swb exhaust
Possible yes, but nto straight forward. its not just the length of the straights that differ but all the bends and their angles and lengths. The SWB exhaust takes a different route to the LWB version due to the petrol tank location difference.

Old fashioned?
Whereas I love 99spec lights on Black Z's. Stunning. On all Z colours really. But then I hate orange lenses on any car, manufacturers stopped using them a long time ago, and even further back for Performance models, which is why it really ages a car.

boot lid trim (99 spec)
26590-30P15 Its quite a lot more expensive though (over £100)

Offset question: LWB vs SWB
Your going to need some arch rolling to get them to fit. Tyres are stretched on those fitments so hard to say by how much.
-
Offset question: LWB vs SWB
No difference between SWB and LWB.

OMG..no way !

Difference in SWB and LWB hatch sizes?
no, you are correct. The LWB rear bumper sticks out further than the SWB version.
