  1. Good to meet so many new faces and cars this month. some more pics
  2. Wider wheels will cause more tramlining, plus the stiffer side walls will pick up imperfections much greater. However 16 > 17 is'nt a giant leap, so if its very noticable it could be that the larger wheels are exagerating the affects of worn suspension bushings or alignment issues.
  3. ouch.....time for manual conversion ? ;)
  4. Hi and welcome Engine options were the same for all year : 3.0 V6 24v N/A - 222bhp 3.0 V6 24v Twin Turbo - 300bhp A 94 plate is hard to come by, but they are out there. There is'nt any real advantage to a 94 over a 93, 92, 91 ..etc other than the Letter on your numberplate. Most Imports tend to be low mileage anyway. I would'nt rule out earlier examples. A 93 Phase 2 has a few changes such as Velour instead of Tweed (but many retrim anyway) and different Climate control unit. Buying guide - http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm Usefull info site : http://www.300zx.org.uk Not sure about that specific bodykit, but its a popular option so Im sure other can advise
  5. With that many Negatives saying he has run away with people's money how does he manage to keep trading. He must have loads of Ebay disputes filed against him.
  6. The Spyware removal tools are not removing the the spyware entirely, and apon each restart they are just re-intialising themselves. p.s I presume you click the "remember this decision checkbox" ? u did'nt say 1. Run the removal tools while in Windows safe mode. 2. Try out Microsofts new Spyware remover - "Microsoft Anti-spyware" . Its in Beta form, but its very good. 3. Ad-aware have launced a new version called Ad-Aware SE. This has made some major improvements over previous versions. 4. Stop going to all those dodgy porn sites where they are being installed from ;)
  7. Sorry to hear Yami....hope its not to big a problem to get fixed.
  8. Hi, and welcome. Cruise control - if u have then there is a button on the RH control unit, ans then buttons on the steerinh wheel. Some dont have it though. Traction control - Never available on the zed. As Simax says racelogic is a good aftermarket option. Mirror - One of the breakers on traders section will be able to help there I also get a faint turbo hiss as boost rises. A leak is the suspect but i still get 9.5 psi on aftermarket gauge. Indicators - sound like a short circuit or bad earth Cracked spoiler - very common problem. The stock one absorbs water and cracks. Look forward to the pics, enjoy her and take it easy for a while, especially with the latest weather.
  9. what parcel shelf ?
  10. The cables are availble here, for about £30-£40 http://www.hand.co.nz/300/interface/
  11. Nice colour....nasty nasty front end. Why on earth would u put crappy Peugeot lights on a Zed. The rear end actually looks ok..although does'nt resemble a zed at all anymore from behind
  12. Yeh, if she loses the skater stuff I could find time for her
  13. An Upgraded ECU does'nt affect how much boost the jets will give you, it just deals with the fuel and timing maps for the extra boost. I think standard ECU is mapped to a max of 12psi, but somebody more in the know should confirm this. your only getting an extra 1 psi (stock is about 9.5 psi), so its very likely you have a boost leak.
  14. Sounds great Ivan. I've also ordered the cable and have the software. Will be a nice addition to my in-car computer. How long did your cable take to arrive in the end ?
  15. My locking nuts have an outer ring that spins on it own, so that method would not work. Im sure you can get a locking wheel nut removal tool, try halfords.
  16. btw - I unfortunalty found out last week that the AA wont cover you for punctures if you dont carry a serviceable spare. :headvswal
  17. Slam panels, fan shrouds...etc....wanted an idea of whats available and prices really.
  18. Are NE Performance no longer registered Forum Traders ? or is something up with the forum. Their Forum seems to be missing from the Traders section, although it can still be found using the search tool. I was Intersted in some Carbon goodies
  19. http://www.tyresonline.net Goodyear F1 - 245/40/17 (they dont offer a 255 :() - £114.56 http://www.mytyres.net Goodyear F1 - 245/40/17 - £107.80 I did'nt check all tyres, just the Goodyear F1 in 17's as thats a common zed fitment. also I found their range limited and the site hard to navigate (have to scroll thru pages of tyres to find what u want) :( Perhaps a deal could be struck with mytyres.net instead ? They seem to have a bigger range, cheaper prices and easier to use website.
  20. same for wife and kids here, although looks like its improving now.
  21. Woohoo...the mind is free to imagine again :D
  22. Hi Mike, I wondered if we could give Guest visitors Ride pic access.? Its just that I noticed a lot of people use Pictures from their rides section in their signature. When a guest user visits without being logged it means you get broken image icons all over the place in messages.
  23. no, no , no.. :nono: thats not what we want to hear ;)
  24. Sorry to hear Kay. Glad its just minor damage to yours. I think you were too nice to her....the claim would of definatly been on her insurnace and not affected yours. Plus..if she gets home her husband talks her into claiming it, and you dont claim it or report to police. You could line yourself up for prosecution for not reporting an accident, even although not your fault.
