  2. top job.....especially considering it was MS Paint ! If I had'nt known you had removed them I probably would'nt of noticed
  3. If you were looking to keep them black, then there not that expensive to replace. The small 3" one thats worn in your pic are about £6 each from zcentre.

ok...I'll see what I can do....watch this space.....
  5. does anyone make/sell battery covers for the zed ? seems a shame to fit all that bling and leave the ugly battery on show
  6. Removing the stock rear spoiler will reduce weight substantially. There are also weights fixed to the underside of the tailgate (under the trim) used as counter balance I believe for the opening and closing of the boot.
  7. why not just run it through the bonnet release cable hole ?. Do it from the inside. I've got Boost gauge pipe and Amp wire running through that. You dont need to remove anything to get to it.
  8. Welcome, thats very common for a Jap import. The japanese do very little mileage, and they are also very strict with servicing and vehicle testing regulations. Plus the Zed is often only used as a weekend car. Thats not to say its not been clocked, but almost all Jap Imports that come over have very low mileage. Here is a buying guide (bit late I know, but handy for checking the car over after) : http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm
  9. I emailed them about postage - $10 postage from NZ.
  10. Will they offer you car allowance instead of a company car, and you can used the Zed instead (or would it involve a lot of high mileage, and they have rules on it having to be 4 doors..etc) ?

    http://www.mytyres.co.uk - £113 each for Goodyear F1 255/40/17
  12. Yes, I expect so. lol. But the NA is easier to thrash about in. Yes, rear seats and different length ;) I've not driven a SWB myself, but apparantly they have quicker handling at lower speeds but less stable at higher speeds. What colour, thats obvious, but a Zed is a Zed so other colours are acceptable if you cant really cant find a black one :p TT or not - Well IMO TT....It should go how it looks :x: ...But NA's are a lot of fun too, and the NA owners will be able tell you how great they are. Good Plan. Essential Mods IMO.
  13. yeh, But all Race cars are Manual
  14. front - 11.0 inch Vented (279mm)...so I guess thats reall 280mm rear - 11.8 inch Vented (297mm)..so I guess thats really 300mm
  15. did you measure any other times 30-50 , 50-70 ?
  16. But in real life you would just put it in a lower gear ;) I personally love the long gearing. Makes for nice motorway cruising and the zed has the low down torque to pull it along from low revs. You can put it in 4th gear on Motorway...still be revving less than everyone else....and have the extra pull from being in the lower gear.
  17. ah yes I missed that. Tiny writing for it on website. Perhaps an idea an early April meet ? ..its about an hour away from Bristol I think
  18. Could be interested in the Jap Day - Oct 2nd.
  19. Unfortunatly its not added there automatically, and has'nt been added manually for new members for quite some time. Post a thread in the Membership and Club enquiries forum, requesting your number.

There was a Guy in the US who started selling these a few months ago after sorting out a supplier/manufacturer , and presumably thats where these are coming from. http://www.directcircuit.com/ ($100 plus postage)
