I ran my Amp power cable through the bulkhead via the Bonnet release lever hole, down the sill and under rear seat to the boot. and the RCA Cables from stereo to amp thru the centre console, under carpet, under seat and into boot.

....there was an article in the news about 6 months ago about a pensioner who was warning motorists of a Police speed camera van uphead, with the use of Painted signs outside his house....and was arrested for perverting the course of justice (or something like that). However a lot of In-car GPS Navigation systems these days their own Built in Speed Camera database systems, that warning the driver of known Active speed traps - As far as I know, they are legal.

just wanted to check something.... 1. when the car goes into safety boost it reduces boost to 7psi and retards the timing ? 2. when u fit an electronic boost controller the ecu can no longer reduce the boost if it goes into safety mode, but it still retards timing ? ...so if you have a electronic boost controller you could be running around in safety mode with retarted timing(affecting performance) and never know it without running a ECU diag ? ...also do aftermarket ECU's (such as JWT) have their own safety modes built in ?

All the Magazines and specs for the Uk Manual 300zx say 300bhp, not 280bhp. It was only after 1996 that it started to become listed as 280bhp. Does'nt the Auto have smaller Turbo's and slightly less Power ?

Its also connected up to a 1400 watt amp, and a mini-keyboard under the passenger seat. IMO it makes no difference. i certainly could'nt pick between to identical cars (condition, year, spec, mileage) just becuase one is an import and the other UK spec. If your after an automatic then the Jap Auto's have a smaller Oil cooler, and an ideal upgrade is to replace it, expecially if you do a lot of high speed motorway mileage. There is'nt really a lot of insurance cost difference. Some insurers wont insure Imports, but the sort of insurers that do dont tend to differ between UK and Import. Uk spec is More likely to have Leather as standard...Jap's have Electric folding mirrors ;) Jap spec is a lot more likely to have lower mileage but there are Uk spec cars with similar low milage.
