Right...Im getting ECU Error Code34 - Det Sensor circuit (Det sensor or Wiring harness failed) :cry: So..I've decided to bypass it becuase : a. "Most" Det damage is done above 3k, but the stock sensor only works under 3k its usefullness is limited. b. I always run Optimax. (So less likely to ever get Detonation) c. Im on stock boost( So less likely to ever get Detonation) d. I cant afford the massive job of having the det sensor replaced e. Will get it replaced if I ever need an engine out job done. Not knowing sod-all about resistors, I'm Looking on Maplin.co.uk but Im not sure what Im looking for. :headvswal is a 1m† Low Noise metal film High Voltage Resistor what I need ? yes...but proof shows that J-spec supra's are indeed NOT 280bhp .....according to the Supra forum, on a rolling road test..stock Jap's were given out between 310 and 330 bhp - stock.

In word..press "Print screen" button on keyboard. Then open Photo editing software. Create New and paste. Then cut out the picture and save it. Job done.

Also, looking at Supra Forum - Stock Jap (claimed 280) and stock UK (claimed 320)...were putting out about the same RW dyno figure...... with a flywheel calculation of 320 'ish

How does the US Spec zed differ from the rest (engine/turbo wise) to give it the extra 20bhp ?

every used car gets cheaper year by year (with some exceptions) but the price of new Japanese sports cars is'nt helping. Dealers are still asking £5.5k + for average examples I personally would'nt buy a Zed for less than £4k anyway for a stock early example....and thats very very cheap for what u get. We need to get the Zed back into Popular demand....its films like "Fast and the Furious" :rolleyes: that did it for the Supra, Rx7..etc Roll on TOTB05...and lets get some of our finer examples into the Magazines !

ooh...now that is nice. Darker and Richer than the other Z32 one. A matt colour would be interesting. When it was first mentioned, It reminded me of a Hand painted Black Capri that looked like a right shed down my parents road...but the those pics look pretty tasty.

But we all know that Manfucturers never adhered to the 280 agreement, see the Skyline GTR, that claimed 280bhp..but actually is more like 320bhp standard. Its likely that if the American Market got 300bhp.....then the RH Drive market also got 300bhp, and it was just Nissan claiming 280bhp for Legal reasons. Plus as mentioend earlier, they officially lowered the output to 280bhp for the series 4 when they dropped VVT. Lowered from what?, if it was already 280.

Toyo Proxies and Goodyears F1's are the two most highly regarded performance tyres, especially for the zed as far as Im aware. You can pay almost twice that price for some other big name tyres that size that are'nt as good.

I do the same, and Im 6ft 2.......but its roomy once your in.....loads of elbow and headroom....and loads more headroom when u take the Targa's off :)
