  1. Happy B'day
  2. WTG :D Im chasing 1k at the mo...
  3. the correct pressure can also be down to personal preference. What sizes do u have now and what pressures do u run ? I've seen +2psi above stock for each 1" increase in wheel size, as a standard rule.
  4. you need a new longer gearshift leather gaitor. Get some leather material, use old one as remplate, stitch together.
  5. There always popping up on the Ebay UK site, but most of the traders can get hold of anything you want from US or Japan if they dont already do it.
  6. Guys, dont forget Steve-o does'nt have a Zed anymore, and is asking about his Bmw M3. a NA exhaust design is critical and requires/benefits from a certain amount of back pressure, unlike Turbo exhausts.
  7. Its 1st August 1992 onwards, and the M3 came out late 1992
  8. You can get low resistance Performance cats. A comprimise between removing the cats and staying legal. Its a legal requirement for the car to actually be fitted with them, so they really do have to be there for the Mot. Gutting them is an option, as long as it still met emissions. You probably already done the research, but if not then check the M3 benefits from decatting. as the ones fitted to my Bmw 535i are already low resistance performance cats as standard, and decatting destroys low end torque becuase of lack of back pressure.
  9. lol, very good. I got caught out on every one

  11. Welcome :) If you have any specific quetions just ask :) If you dont manage to get hold of a Manual, then you can buy them from Zcentre for £12 http://www.zcentre.co.uk/others/others.shtml and there is a Online service manual there : http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi
  12. Just Like Women
  13. I used Oven and Hairdryer. They take ages to heat up enough, and quite a struggle to seperate them. There is a surround for them to sit in and then squezzed in tight when you put it all back together.
  14. There were a LOT more than that originally from the dealers, and fetching around £400 on ebay when dealers stopping supplying them.
  15. As they have to be prised apart by heating them in the oven, you could crack the lens while pulling apart or burn the unit if not carefull. But if you use a low heat and dont try seperating them till the black tar-like glue is soft enough you should have no problems.
  16. yes, I used http://www.directcircuit.com/ lenses for mine. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=42216
  17. I'd love to think the Manuals are selling for considerably more than Auto's, but they were all the same price when I bought mine. Getting an Auto and converting to Manual is certainly more expensive.
  18. Looks nice. :D Im not sure about the rear wing, but like the rest. The Zed might not have the "all-weather" handling of an Evo, but a zed can show many a Evo/Scooby....etc a clean pair of heels in the dry

    Every Day, Every day :D
  20. Excellent, thanks guys. I've bought a pair of 2nd hand 3.5" Tipped cat back boxes, with 2.5" bore pipes , but the previous owner had cut them off just before the cats, so wanted to check that the bore size would match for welding on.
  21. Ahhh..the Red Ztech Astra Beast :)

It does depend on which generation of P4 processor your using, as they draw different amounts, as to how many accessory devices can also be ran. But 150w would be fine, Hundreds of people use them with P4 systems within in-car systems. It would also be wise to use a 2.5" CD/DVD Drive instead of the fullsize desktop versions. As power consumption is lower. There are case's such as the Morex range that uses 2.5" slots. I run a Opus 90w in my mini-itx system (VIA EPIA MII-10000) with : - On-board video and sound - 40gb slimline HDD - 256mb - DVD Slimiline - USB GPS receiver - Gprs & wlan Pcmcia card - Haupage WinTV Card - USB Keyboard - Griffin Powermate mouse/volume control - 4-port USB Hub - Infra-red Webcam I'd look at some of the Via Epia Mini-Itx boards instead though. You'll find they offer plenty of performance for in-car solutions, and they do draw less current. Effectively a similar setup as a laptop, minus the screen. (screen can be powered of its own direct feed....like a car headunit)

Dont forget your power supply. You'll need a Regulated supply, that can also keep the PC powered when the starter motor cranks (volts can drop to near nothing, and then spike when turning over). Check out the Opus 150w (http://linitx.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_94_95&products_id=422) Other handy Items GPRS and/or WIFI Card (Internet access) GPS Receiver (sat navigation) Mini Keyboard (can hide under passenger seat) Loads of USB extension cables ! How do u intend to handle audio ? Feed from Sound card to Headunit, or ditch the headunit and send output direct to Amp ? p.s I may be selling my 7" touchscreen in-dash foldout VGA/XGA screen soon. Its not available in the UK, had to have it made to order from the U.S.
