£3k - £3.5k for a decent early example of a Non-Turbo. Although prices vary, and some sale for stupidly small amounts. Any particular reason your after a non-turbo, instead of a TT ? If its for Insurance reasons, then you'll find NA and Turbo prices are the same (for some strange unknown reason) Buyers guide : http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm
  2. Try elephant.co.uk .. seen some good quotes on here lately for young Zed drivers (£600-£800)
  3. LMAO....great pic
  4. Easter break is the weekend after (sun 27th)....the meet is this sunday coming up (sun 20th).
  5. ah, not nice. If you know the Garage well, or have used them recently or frequently ask them about printing out some Duplicates for you. I had to do the same in preperation for selling my Bmw. Had stacks of Receipts that had disapeared :(
  6. I cant remember if you get an email..but it looks like your account had been upgraded already as it says "subscribed member" See relevent posts in the "Membership and Club Enquiries" section about requesting Internal or External Stickers, and obtaining your membership number (needed for Trade discounts). Welcome to the Club :D
  7. Welcome mate :) Glad you found the site. There used to be an issue with the Forum, where unless you were registered you did not see all the new threads, just the archived stuff. I think this was putting off a lot of people, not realised how thriving the site was. I'd highly recomend Goodyear F1 tyres for the Zed, as Im sure many others will, for both Wet and Dry weather. I believe Outlander Motorsport and GetGreddy can offer HID kits. Check out the South West Events section. We have a Meet this Sunday In Weston-super-mare if interested.
  8. I've been getting some vibration felt thru the steering wheel and pedals at about 60mph (+/- 5mph) since changing to 17" alloys(2nd hand). Took them to garage to get them balanced and they put them on the Balancing machine. The young lad reckoned that the front drivers side alloy was buckled. He did'nt look like he probbaly knew what he was doing but with the weights removed it was giving a figure of "120". after 5 mins messing around with the weights, he got the figure down to "5" and said he would let it go out like that, but I could find I get vibration. ..and sure enough..Im still getting the vibration :( Can alloys that might be bent be repaired to resolve this situation ? Is it possible that it could be the tyre itself causing the imbalance ? Since its a Pretty rare alloy (17" Stern Split-rim) thats no longer manufactured..replacing just that alloy is an unlikely option. :(
  9. Right then...Phase 1 Heater controls..with automatic direction control. Found the setup to be pretty efficient, and that it was pretty good at controlling which vents the heat should come out. However discovered that with the Targa roofs off its a whole different story. It insisted on blowing hot air into the footwell only when I really needed it to blow out the dash vents. So while my feet were warm, anything north of my knees was turning blue :headvswal Is there a trick to this..or can the system defaults be altered somehow...I've read about a aircon diagnostic mode..does this offer any setting controls ?
  10. I thought that was a joke..until I found : http://verma.sfsu.edu/users/wireless/pringles.php
  11. Crikey......now I wish I had'nt given you my home address when I subscribed to this forum ;)

We use the Wife's MPV for everyday stuff....and the Zed gets dusted off whenever I feel like a blast. If I did'nt work from home the Zed would probably end up being my daily car, but I purchased it with the intention of it just being my "toy".
  13. ...but the Hacker would still need to know the MAC addresses of the machines currently only allowed access on my network...and without that info he would not be able to gain access ? ...although presumably a skilled hacker can gain access to anything if he tried hard enough...but for my personal needs (Home office use, small village)..Mac address security is fine ? As I have an in-car computer, with WIFI, I have tested my Wireless network range (based on the hardware I have)...and it seems to be about as far as my driveway....so Hacker would have to park right outside my house, or be my immediate neighbour to get access)
  14. Well there is the zclub...but I know this is a Forum members car as I have seen it advertised on here.
  15. Its a NA with a TT front bumper. This is a Forum members car, but I cant remember who's.
  16. but what about the non-car club members who see a "billing" event organised
  17. ok, thanks guys. Safe enough for my needs.
  18. Very sneaky. I wonder how many will mistakingly go to the Billing event, thinking that is the bigger main event...because JAE has been commonly referred to as "billing" for the past few years.
  19. Thanks ! This thread just reminded me to turn back on my Wireless security since I disabled it last week when doing some testing. Luckily I live in the middle of the sticks where they've only just discovered Colour TV's let alone computers with wireless internet access. Im not that clued up on Security, as I work in a different Area of I.T.....I use Mac address security.......does this offer acceptable levels of security ?
  20. The Koni Shocks and Blitz springs is a very good setup. Another popular choice is KYB AGX Shocks and Eibach springs. Adjustable front and back, and great value for money.
  21. to be honest, if you can stretch to the extra cost of the RPS Unit it would make a lot of sense. It does'nt cost much more than the standard unit, but if you ever intend to increase boost the stock one will start slipping and you'll have to upgrade it then. EDIT : Just realised you have a non-turbo. So what I said does'nt really apply I guess
  22. Jasma is not a make, its just a japanese approval trademark, that all(or most) japanese exhaust system have stamped on them. There is a manufacturer called "Jasmo" however
  23. I think your closest and most highly recomended specialist would be Ztech, inbetween Newbury and Swindon, just of the M4 who can supply and fit. Prices on website, http://www.ztech.co.uk, or contact via Traders section.
  24. Zcentre do a Speed Delimiter and speedo convertor. The other way it to performance Chip the ECU which also removes the limiter.
