removal of centre console
Not sure about pics but its pretty easy. First remove the radio surround, by pulling out the two screw covers at the top, undo those screws. Then pull off the plastic strip that runs along top of the TOP din, and undo those 2 screws. Then pull out the whole thing out (its clipped in at bottom). Once removed, you will see 2 screws underneath for the main (gearstick) area of dash, and there is also one under the Ash tray. Once removed, pull out. (it clipped in various other places, but will pop out). There are 4 screws under the felt in Arm rest console, and you should see the rest after removing the gearstick console part.

Prop Shaft Vibration?
Can u feel the vibration through the seat, at 40+ mph ? does it get less or go away when warmed up ? It could also be the Rear gearbox mount. It starts to giveway, moving the prop out of alighment also need to check that the prop was put back together properly. When it was removed they should of marked the prop at both ends, and then put it back the same way. Could also need rebalancing or they may have but the spacers on the wrong way. THere are 2 washer-like spacers which should sit between the bearing housing and the chassis. They may have been put on between the bolt heads and bearing housing. This also knocks it out of alignment.

Who is this?
anyone know what skirts they are...may just be custom. Not too keen on the indent in them, but love the overall smoothed curved look (that you only seem to get with skirts blended in to wide arches)

Karting anyone?
We are going to have to postpone this event slightly Im afraid. The Karting venue are needing an Immediate confirmation and Deposit, were a bit low on numbers and were out of time unfortunatly. How about the first weekend in October - Sunday 2nd ? ..and we'll rearrange a "regular" meet instead this month ?

Which year should I go for?
90, 91 and 92 are the more commonly available. The Phase 2 onwards (1993) comes with the Alcantra interior instead of tweed (an advantage if your not going for full leather) and seat belts on the pillars instead of door (for J-spec...all Uk spec have them on Pillars). and the improved heater controls (can select direction yourself, instead of automatic). It also has the More reliable PTU. But the 93 is rarer, and the newer you get the rarer they are. Model Differences : http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm
