  1. Not sure what your insurance would be like, try a few online quotes. But its not just the Insurance difference to think about with the 300zx. Fuel and Maintenance costs will also be much higher. The 200sx was a £20k sports coupe, whereas the 300zx is the original japanese Supercar, and not far off £40k when new. An Early good condition example can be obtained from £4k, but will still have the Running costs of a £40k car.
  2. Luv it ! Also some very handy add-ons like Nearest Shell optimax garage, cash machines..etc Its also great for unknown country lanes, where you can see which way every corner goes on the screen before you approach them.
  3. the 3rd or 10th sounds ideal. 17th is day before the Karting event Im arranging (got hangovers to think about ;)), and cant make the 24th. Me and Abi definatly up for this....just have to sort out babysitter. Somewhere decent in Weston or Bristol would be best ?

Google Earth/3D pics are real sattelite pics too though ?
  5. Hope its not too serious, that put a bit of a damper on your day then :(
  6. Ideally yes, some owners run them without an uprated ECU to about 12psi, but considering they are less than £100, its not really worth the risk to not fit one. (IMO)
  7. Stock boost is 9.5psi and if the car is'nt pushing that out in standard form then it has boost leaks or is in safety mode and should be fixed before attempting to increase boost further.
  8. Excellent ! Thanks to Kev and Alan for all the work they put in to help set this meet up. Pics and stuff here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=54963
  9. A fantastic Meet ! 20 zed's in total and a superb Meeting venue. Well done and Huge thanks to Alan (Gruntpa64) and Kev (White-zed) for all the work they put in ensuring everything was setup and ready for our arrival. 11 Zed's in convoy from the South west on the journey there, and we had the local Press Attending too :) The Pics :
  10. Yep, well worth it. Stock tubs with Uprated boost to 13-14psi is probably what 75% of the forum are running.
  11. See you all tomorrow guys. (and girls) :hyper:
  12. This thread is awfull...............the pics are too small ! ;)

ok, leaning towards the 18th, will sort some details and put an official thread up shortly...
  14. We talking "police cells" or actually being sentenced to a prison term ?
  15. No, I would'nt be allowed to post on here at weekends otherwise !
  16. Great news Si, Look forward to seeing it on sunday (or saturday?) What tyres do you have on her, she's a fresh import, and if she's wearing Rubber from Japan you'll find its absolutely rubbish. They are a much harder compound than what we run over here (even from the same manufacturers) and are especially useless in the wet.
  17. :hyper: First car I've ever had to pass its MOT first time, including several 3 year old Company cars !
  18. Really hard to diagnose without seeing it. Take it along to local Garage, and get them to have a look, its more than likely they will be able to spot or diagnose the problem straight away.
  19. SWB only, rear resevoir shared with front windscreen on the LWB.
  20. Bump....just a few days to go :hyper:
