I would say condition (when you go to view them) would be more important than age or mileage....however its worth noting that at 60k the 300zx is due a large service (including cambelt). Typical cost for this service is £400-£500 from a Specialist.

Like the seats (their mad!), but not actually that keen on the dash and door trim (might be the "blue" I dislike, rather than the actual material...cant decide)

Without going for a full coilover setup, I would recommend : Shocks : New Stock or KYB AGX or Koni Springs : Eibach Also look into Uprated Anti-roll bars and have all your existing suspension and steering bushes checked and replaced where needed.

Power Transistor Unit - It amplifies the Signals from the ECU and sends to each coilpack. Series 1 is unreliable. There was a huge recall on them from Nissan in the U.S, and replaced with the reliable Series 2 version. Unfortunatly the UK never got this recall.

Nissan always give me a sump washer free when I buy the oil filter from them. RRP must be few pence.

Anything over 4500k reduces light output by changing its colour. 4500k is the diamond white output, as is the most efficient for lighting. new cars like high-end Bmw's have this rating - 3200 lm 6000k has slightly less output and adds a blue tint to it. - 2800 lm 8000k adds a stronger blue/purple tint - 2600 lm 10000k is starting to get purple - 2300 lm

The U.S had Front and rear electric adjustable shocks with a switch inside the cabin(next to elec mirrors switch) to change to Touring or Sport mode. The UK had rear only electric adjustable shocks, operated by pulling the handbrake handle up 1 notch (sport mode) Jap did not have adjustable

I like the 99 Spec and Strosek. However the 99spec is the only bumper that looks right without side skirts. All other bumpers need at least side skirts too.

Glad you got it sorted. Keep an eye on http://www.zclub.net incase of futher problems, they cater for the Z31, but we are Z32 only here.

They are the same. Blue Flame used to make the exhausts for Mongoose.

Welcome Tara :) My Wife was'nt too keen on zed's when I first purchased it(mainly impraticality), but her opinion changed over time.....to the point where she now has her own zed too.
