Massive car jolt solved (I think)
yeh thats it. Its spray from other cars entering the front and getting to filter that most experience problems with.

Massive car jolt solved (I think)
Like a sheet of black plastic, about the size of an A4 piece of paper, and would normally sit just under the stock airbox. Very simple to knock up something similar. The jolt you were probably experiencing was the safety rpm cutout at 3000rpm, thats controlled by the ECU when its not getting an appropriate signal from the MAF.

Massive car jolt solved (I think)
Looks like you've found an issue, but your also missing the plastic piece that should sit under the filter to protect it from water coming in from below. Quite common for people to mistakingly remove this when they fit an induction kit.

Where have you mounted your electric gizzmo's?
Its quite popular to mount the greddy boost controller/turbo timer in the stock clock location. I would probbaly hide the EDFC controller in the centre arm rest.

Pod challenge set vg30dett vs ls3
nice one :) Does he know that you'll be running more boost at the pod ? Is it stock boost now? the difference between stock boost and 1 bar is very significant. about 1 sec of the 0-60 and 2-3 secs of the 0-100.

Speedo Convertor
They are typically always on ebay for peanuts. But the best way (but more expensve) is always to fit UK Clocks.

Help, i'm fick
Its your Airflow sensor and it sits in the nose panel with your Intake filter connected to it. They go for around £80-£110 second hand, relatively expensive unfortunately because they are sought after by other cars as an upgrade. Typical sympton of failure is the inability to rev past 3000rpm, but intermittent failures can cause general poor running.

JAE ConZult results
Lots of timings out. And lots of det sensor failures (no suprise there), 6 I counted...running around in Safety mode, severely down on performance.

You cant go wrong with Fancy dress and Karaoke when you have a large amount of drunk people in a field. I see that you mentioened projector, avoid using this to show a movie or something as this tends to do is split people .....and if your allocating a marque for this then everyone else has to find somewhere else to be loud and drunk. But using it for background visuals with more lively entertainment going in is a great idea.

how fast can i go in 3rd gear?
You either have 60 profile tyres on those 19's, or your doing 9500rpm, or your in 3rd gear, or you have a very generous speedometer there. lol ;)

9/11 r.i.p
Cant believe its 10 years ago. I remember it well too, I was working from home and it came on TV, and i was updating my work collegues in America on what was going on as they didnt have access to the live TV coverage. The really sad thing is the collegue I was talking to at the time was the Sister of Todd Beamer on Flight 93, who attempted to take the plane back from the Hijackers and is famous for the last words heard on the phone just before it went down..."Lets Roll". :( R.I.P

1988 BMW Dealership Left Untouched
Not sure I'd call it a hoax, the original story was speculation, but yeh its not entirely accurate as its not completely abandoned. There is another article where they met he owner, but he was not interested in letting anyone in or discussing the situation. He has a cleaner and gardener that maintains the place and there is an underground storage area with the possibility of further cars.

Clutch and gearbox fitting
You would be insane to remove engine just to fit clutch and box. Tudor and Gonzo have given good advice. It can be done on your own (with a lot of struggle), but ideally a 2+ person some for slightly less struggle getting the box in. Standard axle stands give enough height. Seal the rear gearbox output with a latex glove or something, or risk getting a face full of fluid as you fight with it. Perfect Clutch alignment is critical for a trouble-free fitment.
