Cars in the UK will naturally pull slightly to the left, becuase of road camber , but it sounds like a mistake was possibly made with the alignment

Car and Driver magazine recorded a flat 5.0 sec time and 13.1 sec 0-100mph with a TT SWB Manual. Most magazines and tests have achieved around 5.5 - 5.6 secs for the stock Manual TT.

well..put it this way...he was in 6th gear doing 11,000rpm and that bike is capable of 200+

You just need to fix it in a suitable location behind the door, where it can be connected to the connecting rod between the external door lock and internal lock. Compare the location with the doorcard, to make sure you can fit the card back on without problems.

I never tested my TT stock, but with 1 bar boost I have recorded several runs all under 5 secs (4.77sec being my best so far, and 11.89 0-100mph). It always varies, Magazine tests when the Z32 came out were getting figures as low as 5.0 secs, and one even published a 6.5 sec time. Most were in the mid 5's though. With the NA, I have only tried it once, it seemed like an ok launch but I only got a 7.8 secs :(

tbh, unless he is an expert on the Z32 I suspect he did'nt know what he was talking about. Some other cars do benefit from leaving the cats in place, due to the way the ECU is setup for fuelling and the expected backpressures..etc but the NA Zed does benefit from being decatted.

In the tests that are floating about the internet somewhere the Apexi and HKS both flowed the same rates (and both higher than the others) but the Apexi was the best at filteration and the HKS the worst of the group. Not sure why you could be noticing a difference, to be honest an air filter, no matter which make is'nt going to make much difference to the zed anyway.

I've been trying to sort something else out, but its not going to happen. :rant: :cry: My trip was partly seperate from you guys, different ferry, different dates..etc , but I have my hotel room half paid already that I will no longer be able to use :( (p.s they cant charge you for whole room, they will just keep deposit we already paid) Im absolutely gutted :( ....and shocked that others have pulled out too I thought it was just me.

Its the responsiveness that takes away the "feel" though. You can tell whats happening and control the braking better in the zed without the snappy response. The Zed brakes are good, when they are working correctly, most are running around with tired braking systems, the most common fault being seized caliper pistons and owners dont realise that they are running around with 2/3 pot brakes instead of fully functional 4 pots.
