  1. You can do the DIY ones, and its a big improvement over stock but side by side with genuine 99specs and you really notice the difference.
  2. Stock lights are just plain nasty and completely ruin the rear end. 99spec lights look ubber cool ! As for the aftermarket round style lights, IMO they often look chav although they do suit some zeds.
  3. lol.....its not bayside blue though, lighter shade......but lets not hold that against him.
  4. Not a sports car like the zed, but Turbocharged and RWD so the potential is there though. 250hp, noticably slower. Softer handling. Dull interior and exterior styling, but some more rear leg room and a bigger boot.
  5. Yeh, pretty common tbh. Fitting a Hicas eliminator wont solve the problem as the Eliminator only replaces the Hicas unit and not any of the arms, so you would still need to purchase the new bushings. Zcentre is far from the best place to be looking for OEM parts. MJP is your best bet for OEM or specialist zed garages.
  6. Remove the fuse, and run engine until it stops. Its located in the small fuse box in engine bay near the Brake Master cylinder. Its the fuse on the end closest to the engine.
  7. 1 day to go is'nt it ? Not got HDTV......Its not a Halo 3 requirement is it ?
  8. Based on (similar) others that have sold in the last year I would say around the £10k figure
  9. They are not keen on bodykits in the U.S or a lot of the european styling , which is why they dont like a lot of the UK cars (The zcentre website oftens comes up on there forums as a piss-take.), its not all bad comments though - http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=109701
  10. Also on http://www.300zxclub.com , posted by Big Kim I believe, but they are mostly being slagged off Im afraid.
  11. Depending on the lead length of the kit you purchased they will just about fit under the nose panel. Others mount them underneath the headlights (have to remove headlights) or just leave them fixed under the engine bay just behind headlights.
  12. Yes, Mine has had it done, but its a slicktop so might not help you see how it looks on a Targa, here you go anyway :
  13. Stick to a good semi-synth 10-40w unless engine has been fully rebuilt, has ran on fully synth since then and is running a LOT more power then standard.

not read entire thread....but I gather Im putting my name down for a big zedfest type event april-may next year at billing ? Any other important points ? My only concern is that I may be putting my name down for some sort of swingers party, which would be cool too if it were'nt for the somewhat biased male:female ratio. 1) duffers 2) fairladyzgirl 3) Big kim 4) mattymoo 5) hellraiser 6) retro620ti 7) boldy 8) coopers-swb?? 9) wozzer(AKA ZIPPY) 10) smithy 11) anthonyd 12) JonLowndes101 13) emero 14) cybernet 15) Darkside TT 16) viniboy 17) Zogg 18) madmarco 19) S-Tune 20) gazza and julie 21) CJ with claire and dogs ( ben & jerry) 22) Saikoracer and the katskers 23) smithy 24) Shrek 25) The Dark Warrior 26) DCarey 27) steve burns 28) Joely P 29) Suzy 30) Tulip 31) Chewie 32) Geoff Jordan ??? 33) Crotchrocket ??? 34) Derek Sulley 35) OZ-ZX and Sam 36)simon300zx 37) Nidge74 38) Legrath
  16. When I hear "Capri" I always think of the Mk2/Mk3 which I loathe. They had a dodgy image while I was growing up. Mk1 capri is fairly  though !

  19. HTH : an example of the more common z32 fitment spring rates - Nissan OEM (Varys slightly between US/JAP/EUROPE , TT and NA) Front 2.8kg/mm (157 lb) Rear 2.4kg/mm (134 lb) Eibach Pro springs (have not done the Math to convert to kg/mm) Progressive Front (185-250 lb) Rear (145-200 lb) Tein Flex Coilovers Front 8kg/mm Rear 6kg/mm D2 RS Coilovers Front 13kg/mm (727 lb) Rear 7kg/mm (392 lb) I will be going for a 8kg/6kg setup in mine (but not Teins). Having been in the D2's I would avoid them, and any similar spring rate, like the plague !
  20. Welcome :D So what sort of Zed did you get - TT, NA, Manual, Auto, LWB, SWB.... ?
  21. 12kg/8kg Springs rate are way OTT for the road !
  22. The overpriced RHD version is apparantly sold out....but plenty of LHD looms available, SWZ has half a dozen on there shelves. No fitting issues, You just have an extra foot or so of loom that you place under the battery tray.
  23. Be prepared for possibly having to replace the EFI loom. In fact I would highly recomend doing so. They dont like to be disturbed and you'll have hard brittle wires and broken connectors to deal with.
  24. The SPL/KTS Coilovers are very popular in the states for the 300zx with excellent reviews. Better quality than the usual Teins.
