99 Spec Red Stitch steering wheel
That wheels is standard wheel for all pre 94 Z's, and any later Z's without the airbag option. Which is pretty much 99% of Z's. No reason the same could not be done to the rare airbag wheel though.

Nissan Motorsport Import
gah..cant edit. I guess I need to resubscribe. What i was trying to say is, these are all common aftermarket mods, often found in Imports.

Nissan Motorsport Import
Why wouldn't they be in kph ? All Nismo dials are in Kph. Stillen are a popular aftermarket parts supplier, based in the U.S. Anyone can buy Nismo plates or a Spec wheel by nick japan.

Nissan Motorsport Import
Nismo didn't sell any special edition Z's themselves. There are a range of aftermarket parts available form Nismo, mostly cosmetic, some actual performance upgrades. Although tbh, most Parts come from ebay with fake nismo branding. Things like Nismo dials..etc are common on the aftermarket scene.

wtf my post removed
Rules against any threads relating to selling/trading from non subscribed members has been in place for many years. As a long term member you should of been aware of them. You may not have been directly trying to sell, but you have to bear in mind that a lot of people have in the past made threads pretending not to be trading but essentially advertising the fact that they are to everyone so they can get around the rules. Its much simpler for everyone to simply disallow anything to do with trading from non subscribed members than it is to have to moderate each individually and have discussions and votes behind the scenes wether each thread can stay or not. Providing exceptions for anyone just causes trouble later on.

Looking for my first ZX
If you would prefer a manual, then my recommendation would be to hold out for one We have Auto owners here who will defend them all day long...but the autobox is weaker, probably the weakest/most unreliable part of a Z32, they are slower (despite what some auto owners might want to think) and do take a lot of fun out of the driving experience in my opinion. Manual conversions are fairly popular option, although not cheap unless you do the work yourself. The Auto's lower peak power output is due its different profile cams and turbocharger to help recover some of the lost low-mid response and power from the autobox. In general the 300zx is a reliable, well built car, but most are about 20 years old now and there are a lot of bad examples out there. Many owners will tell you, myself included, that their Z(s) has been one of the most reliable cars they have owned. Whereas others have found themselves with £2k bills shortly after purchase. Careful purchase and Preventative maintenance is key. Some other considerations when purchasing is do you want a 2+2(LWB), 2+0(SWB), Targa, slicktop, or convertible.

Surely the number is useless without actually being subbed.

How easy is it to mount bucket seats to standard rails?
This is going to be a whole lot easier if you have a welder and can weld..... Because those are lower budget seats that are base mounted rather than side mounted, you may have an issue with overall seat height by simply welding them into the stock rails. Your also not going to be able to alter the amount they recline like a side mounted seat. It appears they have a set of generic low-height rails fitted as standard, but what your going to have to do is see how the width compares to the stock rails. If the width is good then you can use the rear holes like the stock rear hole mounts, then cut the front legs of the stock rails and weld them on to fit the front. If the width is wrong, then your looking at knocking up a custom brace to match up the rail to the stock mounting points. Either way, I would take into account how you want the seat reclined when working out the front mounting points. Thats because you didn't mount them at the angle and height that suits you. A decent pair of Bucket seats, installed in the correct way for you can be a lot more comfortable than a set of generic stock car seats, and a hell of a lot more supporting. A lot of it is to do with finding the seat that matches your frame though, some are narrower/wider at the waist, while others are at the legs.

sport relief
Just asked the Missus as she sat watching it...She said the money is supposed to be 50/50 split between UK and the rest, but other than the first video they showed tonight (which had her crying) the rest have been Africa
-
sport relief
I've not watching it tonight, but in previous years they always showed both.

sport relief
Sport relief provides charity for both UK and overseas. I'm not sure what the split is, it may be 50/50, or it could go either way. It certainly a hell of a lot worse in many of the other countries though. I dont agree with the high amounts of Foreign aid the Government spends, but I have no issue volunteering my money to Large charities like Sport relief/comic relief for international aid. As for guests,..you want the highest viewer count then you get the popular artists of today.....I have no idea if or how much they personally donate, do you ?

Courtesy Parts use their own unique part numbering system. Those are not the correct part numbers for ordering from Nissan or anywhere else. The Correct 99spec Rear light part numbers are : LHS - 26550-VP125 RHS - 26555-VP125 Centre - 26540-VP100

how much you pay!!
He is after a NA guys. Typical fuel mpg quoted by most Na owners over the years is 20-24mpg....and up to 30mpg on long cruises. There are lots of online mpg calculators you can use if you want to work out what that will cost you over your typical journey. You cant really go using a Z on Safety mode as an example of typical economy. Its basically chucking fuel down the bores on Rich fuel maps. Same for a Twin Turbo example on 16psi, where the injectors are over 100% duty every time you floor it.

Afraid not, but it belonged to MickeyB and I took it at JAE05, there should be other pics of his car (it was quite well known) from around that era on here.

Yes, the same. The difference is between NA and TT, not LWB or SWB. - subframe differences...
