  1. WRX version is supposed to look better though. ok not a lot better , but a bit more aggressive LOL @ Rover 25....quite true !
  2. We missed you at the pub, we were only a couple of miles from you down the road at the next pub by the sounds of it. We went on into Bristol after that for a meal. How were the other 2 track sessions you and Dave had after we left ? How did you get them...somebody selling them ?
  3. twice lol ;) , but you were'nt racing like he was....its all about having fun, thats whats important   His sister was'nt happy about the Supra LOL She said he was sideways at every corner and the tyres were still smoking when it was parked up on the Club stand afterwards. The Zed front brakes are completely warped too. First few goes are very daunting though, even as a passenger.
  4. True, there was a big mix of cars and drivers(skill) on the track. Everything from Fully track stripped and caged Impreza's to New Porshes, M3's and Ferrari's. A lot of cars wearing nurburgring and castle combe stickers. A few standard family cars too :slap: It was good to see Borderzed in his standard 2+2 TT holding of a modified E46 M3 CSL for a number of laps and I think paul was running circles around everything (inc that Civic and all the track prepped cars) on the second session. It can be dangerous mixing so many different cars and skill levels though. Some drivers were giving it everything and others were not there to race or push themselves and the car to its limits. A lot of the more expensive and faster machinery were the slowest on the track because their owners were understandably not want to take any risks with the car. But thats track days for you, your there to have fun, no matter how fast or steady you drive it .....if you want a full-on competitive race then you need to enter a dedicated Race event. Pity it was so wet though....usually is at Castle combe lol The Wipers were lifting at 150mph+ on the straight which caused some visibility issues LOL
  5. The Autobox ECU is not in that pic, and it has a Blue connector similar to the Main ECU connector.
  6. How about the Club purchase a 300zx.co Banner for each Region, so that they can be used at shows in regional area's ? This was a suggestion proposed by several members at the recent Castle combe event. It was dissapointing that the SW region could not have the Club Banner for the day, especially when all the other clubs at the event were showing theirs proudly and there were even competitions for the best club stand. Each banner could be taken care of by the Regions REO.
  7. My pics added here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110376 if everyone posts their pics and video to that thread it would be great :)
  8. Me and Paul were working on a Gearbox change on a Black TT 2+2 till 2am, but new box was dead too (took a chance on an unknown one) so could'nt take that. So we ended up working till 5:30am to get the Convertable driveable for the days event. We had a little more than an hours sleep before we all met up for the convoy, but was worth it. Really enjoyed it. Was interesting to see all sorts of Performance (and non-performance LOL) cars turn up for the event. A Lot of fully caged track day toys too.

  10. Yowser replied to KIM's topic in Events - UK
ok, ta. I know what will happen though - the Devon & cornwall section will have all its meet closest to somerset while Glouc and bristol will have all its meets up north LOL
  11. Yowser replied to KIM's topic in Events - UK
Its dissapeared entirely. I dont mind which section its in as I'll go to both area meets, but its the biggest county in the region and does'nt even get mentioned LOL
  12. Yowser replied to KIM's topic in Events - UK
    Where has somerset gone !?
  13. Had a cracking day, cant wait to see some track footage. Lots and lots of fun. I got some pics of us parked on club stand that I will post later but I was too busy holding on when in the car LOL Paul's vert had lots of problems but hel did some respectable laps in it, but our 2nd session in the Supra was ballistic even lapped many vehicles. It now needs new rear shocks, pads and tyres though  :x: Was disappointing that we never got the Club banners when everyone else had theirs. :( p.s Who's up for some more track days !!!!???:dance: Cant wait to get into some Proper circuit racing.
  14. and I feel nearly dead. 1hr sleep. Why do we do this !! LOL see you shortly
  15. Leatherette is fine for the panals as long as its not the plasticly shiney looking cheaper stuff, but I'd never use it for the seats.
  16. All the ones I've removed have been sikoflex (or similar) and screws.
  17. Pm lisaf or wow300 , he would be traveling with them to castle combe. I also sent his tickets to lisaf for the event.
  18. ah. didn't realise they were different.
  19. I know others who have ordered the roof trims them from the U.S. Website says cant order online, have to phone.
  20. http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/oe_mouldings.html Yes, mine were removed, filled in, smoothed and painted over before I got it, but the finish around the windscreen is not great so I need to sort that out....1 option is to have the trims refitted.
  21. maybe its to hold the door on
