Twin turbo into NA Convertible ?
The Convertable Zed has a kerb weight of just over 1600kg. But its not the weight that lets it down as a sports car, its the overall chassis rigidity. In comparison to the Targa versions it has a noticably more "wobbly" chassis and does not handle as well at all, It does'nt drive like a Targa or slicktop model. Thats not to say the Convertible is'nt a great car, I really like it, but it serves a different purpose, there is a reason Nissan only ever fitted it with the NA engine. The same applies to most convertibles though.

Help finding performance stats!
its all approximate anyway :) I believe Car and Driver magazine recorded the faster 0-60 on a stock TT SWB Manual of 5.2 secs 1 bar boost will put any TT under 5 secs though :D

Twin turbo into NA Convertible ?
I believe there are only 2x TT convertables in the UK - Topless and Paul@SWZ. That I know of, anyway.

Twin turbo into NA Convertible ?
Feel lighter ? They feel like tanks compared to real SWB's. About 200kg heavier than a regular SWB NA. They are heavier than the TT LWB. They require a lot of extra reinforcement in the chassis to try and keep them rigid. Definatly cruisers rather than Sports cars.

Help finding performance stats!
TT or NA ? TT is 280hp and 276 Ib/ft Torque NA is 225hp(ish) and 190 Ib/ft Torque TT 0-60 is about 5.5 secs NA 0-60 is about 7 secs

Castle Combe Spring Action Day - April
Gates open at 7am for Clubs, Traders and Track competitors First track sessions start at 9am Our Club track sessions are at 10:15am and 11:45am. All drivers must attend the Track briefing at least 30mins before their session. Everyone with track time has a session at 10:15am. Those with an additional track session have it at 11:45am also. I will hopefully be there for around 8:30am. If you have track time then I would advise being there for 9am or earlier. Any later than 9:30am and you will not have time to attend the briefing. Remember there can be big que's entering the site. All club members will enter via the Competitors entrance.

What a day I've had !!!!!
Yeh, Magistrates mentioned that..but then the Clerk said if the person was heavily over the limit they would of been arrested and bought in front of the court later that day... I thought it was odd though  I reckon so, but all I was told about is the driving related offences. Im not aware of anyone having had any criminal offences..but must be somebody that knows me. I guess thats probably what gave the game away to the Police clerk when she looked it up on the system and said she could tell straight away.

What a day I've had !!!!!
Feeling pretty relieved now that somebody has recognised the problem. Thought I was going to have to deal with a legnthy Court trial and solicitors. ****ed off that it looks like somebody has pretended to be me and caused all this agro though....and Im still technically banned till DVLA confirm otherwise, and I still got to go back to court for my original hearing becuase of the adjourment instead of that being over and done with. If i find out who......Im pretty f*cking fuming!

What a day I've had !!!!!
Nobody would give me any details of the case or this other person - date protection act....

What a day I've had !!!!!
been on phone to the courts now (different court to the one I went to today) and they tell the person gave my name and address at the roadside but different D.O.B, and then when in court they must have been caught out as they gave a different address and D.O.B but somewhere along the line it was'nt corrected with DVLA so I ended up getting the endorsements. Thing is that its my old address and I had'nt updated my address with DVLA since I moved last year. So some f*cker was pretending to be me  ......racking my brain -...depends what LC20 means exactly would give me some clues...if it means they were underage then I got no idea...otherwise I got my suspicions !:mad:...... Looks like its being sorted now though - The courts have to send a letter to DVLA to fix the problem, but until I hear back from DVLA I am technically disqualified. :headvswal:
