  1. Pretty sure the Greddy TD05 range use external wastegates, such as the 16G and 18G. 16G is a pretty decent turbo, old tech now, but capable of big numbers without too much lag. That what CJ was running, highest recorded RWHP figure in the club. and Mac_1 is running the 18G which is kicking out even more power.
  2. I towed one of them to scrap yard couple of months back....was'nt very fast  Weighed a lot though...which was good :D
  3. Yeh, its all about the launch (and you wont get that without some high rev clutch dropping at the lights). Once moving they dont have the legs, not the standard models anyway.
  4. Not quite Si. The Later gen cars were more powerfull, but also heavier. About same stock power as a TT and only a little lighter. But from a smaller engine with a peaky powercurve and 4wd transmission losses. They definatly lose out on mid-range and top end acceleration. My Brother-in-law has a 2003 STi - 280bhp I believe. It feels very short geared to drive and I found it disappointing on straight line performance. I remember Paul@SWZ driving my old NA (!) and being all over the backend of an Evo on the motorway that was flatout accelerating and was holding us up ! But then they have all these "special" versions, and the same for the Evo too....that would show up a stock TT at legal speeds.
  5. lol cheers. I think the post they were in might of been moved to private.....here they are reattached : I chose them for the different angles ofcourse..nothing else :x:
  6. RX7;s are a lot quicker than RX8's though. All the big engined jap coupes are all similar performance tbh - 300zx, Supra, RX7, GTO, GTR The Evo, impreza, Gtir are'nt as quick on the move and dont have the top ends. There so many different bloody versions of the things these days though you never know.
  7. Unfortuantly he does'nt seem to post here anymore here are the pics of his from zedworld photoshoot : Is that it ?
  8. Artztogo's reminds me of your old one Kay, is that it ? will find link....
  9. no, Kay's Bayside blue one was same colour as mine Murt.
  10. The Supra is marginally quicker, but then its stock boost is set at 11psi, whereas the 300zx stock boost is set at just 9psi. Both cars running same boost with same mods then there is nothing between them.
  11. I'd disagree, while TT auto vs TT Manual performance is debatable, the NA Auto definatly slower in all areas than a NA Manual. Cant give figures for performance difference, but side by side in a straight line race the NA manual definatly pulls away from the Auto.
  12. of the zxtreme website - 07801735117
  13. You will get quite a bit of noise and vibration from them. Stick to OEM or Polyurethane.

  17. Its early days. Its going to hit small businesses first, and depends on the industry. Construction, real-estate..etc have been suffering for a while.
  18. I tend to collect a of of useless facts along the way, that sometimes turn out usefull LOL Job/Hobby - Bit of both ;)
  19. No, its a straight bolt on, no spacing. It only need spacing if you fit a TT flywheel with NA gearbox.
  20. Hello paraplegic ! lol Whats that about then Jimmy
  21. MJP - You will find them in the Forum traders section
  22. lol, pretty sure Barry will be keeping that NA, its his cruising Zed. He has a modified Slicktop TT manual for his Quick one.
  23. Cool. Didn't know you and Barry were heading down there. :( That escort looks like my zed
  24.
  25. It should'nt be a big issue with the stock bumper, I know a lot of the guys in the U.S have fitted the godspeeds and just had to modifiy the indicator slightly. J1mmytt has done it also. Then duct the fog ducts to the intercoolers.
