  1. Have you tried MJP/Mr.F (in the traders section) - The clubs Nissan parts supplier. Its not going to be a cheap part though, its a hefty item.
  2. Most common issues for drivetrain vibration is the Rear gearbox mount and the Prop centre bearing. The Gearbox mount collapses over time causing the gearbox to move out of alignment which puts excess strain on the propshaft centre bearing and causes it to fail prematurely. An improved design Nismo gearbox mount is around £75 and propshaft centre bearing is around £150. The less common cause is the prop shaft U.J';s themselves. They can be rebuilt, or it can just be easier to fit a 2nd hand propshaft or a one piece propshaft. I have a one piece propshaft on mine and it has the advantage of being around half the weight of the stock 2 piece item, which equates to better response, improved acceleration and more power at the rear wheels. If you go for a one piece then its best to replace the gearbox mount as well.
  3. Gezz frequents the other z site more than here, try there.
  4. Green ? I've only noticed blue and bronze before. Just to be clear, its not he sunstrip colour at the top, but the glass tint itself.
  5. Yep, mine is Blue tint all round :) Greg replaced his JDM tint with a Blue tint without changing the rest, and the difference between front and sides was'nt noticeable but the front looked much than the old brown tint.
  6. they are all good but that last one had me in stitches
  7. Typical ebay advert bullshit
  8. UK Spec Blue tint is about £200 , available from UK stock and nicer looking.
  9. Local car. Belongs to Trevz http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=2004
  10. not a drop of snow this year yet down ere :(
  11. I cant find any pics, but its Black Plastic. Approx 3" x 1.5" x 1" with a big female connector at one end. It lives behind the boot trim where the Boot interior light and electric aerial are.
  12. Does'nt even need to be a TT, a good NA Manual can be a blast to drive.
  13. He has an NA Auto, which could be the cause of the problem, sorry other NA Auto owners, but its not the most thrilling to drive out of the range.
  14. Yes...well presumably...there's no data out there on his wheelbase dimensions. But people try and use this excuse to claim the 2+2 has some sort of handling advantage because that's what Steve Millen used in a tubular frame car that only loosely resembles an actual 300zx. In reality the advantages to the altered wheel base would offer the ability to alter weight distribution easier. The driver is positioned effectively where the rear seats would be normally, which is'nt possible with the SWB, and it gives more room for a larger fuel cell positiioned more in the centre of the car.
  15. Its a tubular framed chassis with fibreglass body, it does'nt resemble a SWB or LWB.
  16. Nice article on Steve Millens (stillen) race career with the 300zx http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/11/28/retrospective-gt-gt-millen-and-the-300zx.aspx
  17. Nope, sunny (and cold) here.
  18. Bawhahahahahah
  19. Bit late, but Happy Birthday ! :duffer:
  20. Thats an odd one. If your speedo is working and the Informeter is reading the speed from the ECU then the Speed sensor circuit from the Gearbox to the Clocks, to the ECU must be fine. If your PAS working ok ? Hicas light coming on ? It does'nt put the car in safety mode of anything like that so you dont have to worry there, the only concern would be with the PAS and HICAS but if they are fine too.....
  21. Blueflame quad system is quieter than the blueflame oval system.
  22. Welcome It will be the little black box behind the boot trim. Its on the Drivers side, you'll need to remove the plastic boot trim to get to it. Black box about 3" x 1.5" x 1", with a single connector.
  23. Correct Im afraid. Only subscribed members (£20 to subscribe) can sale here.
  24. Stock is going to be more restrictive than aftermarket. Most of them are rotting away though these days and it is very quiet (you will hear the engine above the exhaust note). I'd say the mongoose/blueflame is a much better compromise as well as being Stainless steel.
  25. Yep, that would be my vote too for a quiter sounding option. The mongoose / blueflame quad exhaust.
