Whats the best/your favourite colour for a Z32...
Standard colours - I've grown really fond of Zed's in bright white. Also like Silver and Black. Aftermarket - I love blue's - Mine is Skyline Bayside blue, but I would'nt mind changing it for 350z Daytona blue, RS blue or a Candy blue.

the finished N/A subframe
You will notice it everywhere. I've not done any timed tests with mine, but there was somebody in the U.S that measured somethine like a 0.5 sec drop for 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Top speed is lowered to about 165, but it will get there quicker. Acceleration in all gears will be quicker...but bear in mind that if you do a lot of motorway mileage then mpg will be affected.

LOL...yeh, its damn heavy, but around 35kg saving over the TT lot.

the finished N/A subframe
yes. Complete NA rear end : Subframe Arms (or aftermarket adjustable arms, only the rear toe arms differ) Differential Driveshafts Hubs Rear half of propshaft (or get yourself a Lightweight one piece) If you find somebody breaking an NA, then the entire lot can be removed in one lot.

No Hicas :) Lighter :) Higher final drive ratio :)

Old top gear mag review
Differences in the camshafts and smaller turbos on the exhaust side to try and make up the slushy nature of the autobox. Auto Camshafts - 240 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Manual Camshafts - 248 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams Auto Turbos - A/R = 0.54 Manual Turbos - A/R = 0.63 They are not that far apart in simple straight line race on paper, but the manual is noticeably quicker and more responsive in the real world.

-
the finished N/A subframe
Nice one Mark, Looks great.  You should get yourself some subframe spaces too if you have'nt already. Here is mine with the standard arms - I haven't fitted the adjustable arms yet, waiting for my coilovers first.

Old top gear mag review
Strange review, as they are comparing 5 totally different cars that you can get for the same money, so ranking them is kinda pointless..depends on what you want from a car. But not a bad writeup.

Replacement Sensor and Loom - Budget for £300 to replace or £1 to bypass. Lots of info on bypassing for pros and cons - search forum Ignore that for the minute, as the det sensor and no coolant temp sensor reading will be making it extremely rich, so the sensors may be sitting there showing a full rich reading. Check them again after other faults fixed. Check the 2 connectors on the top water pipe between the radiator and engine. Left is ECU temp sender, right is gauge temp sender. The connectors themselves are probably corroded/dirty. Clean them and file away any corrosion. Then check again If it is sensors then they are about £30 Have a 60k service done which will replace cambelt, waterpump and thermostats - £500'ish from a Zed specialist TT bumper - £50 2nd hand + delivery from Z breakers Can be done at same time as 60k service Gearbox off to replace unfortunatly. £15 part, £200 labour Relatively simple for a garage to fix - oil feed either needs tightening or replacing. Could potentially be rocker cover gaskets though, which is a plenum off job so about £200-£300 labour if it is that. They are undersealed as standard, but that can get chipped/scratched away in places over time. You could do it yourself with a £10 can of underseal Suspension - OK I would say your looking at about £700-£1000 for a garage to do all the work for you. If you want to get your own hands dirty then maybe a couple of hundred in parts and a weekend working on her. None of the problems are unusual, most zed's will have to have all of the above done at some point, and these problems are very typical of a lot of poorly maintained lower price Z's out there unfortunatly. I guess you need to decide wether the car is worth it personally to you.

ECU cant get a reading from the det sensor so it means either the Harness or the Sensor itself.

Digital Dash
There are some complete Digital race dashes that are plug and play with some car ECU's and aftermarket ECU's like AEM. But nothing for the zed stock ecu.
-
Digital Dash
no he just needs to keep the stock speedo board so the cars ecu still see's the speedo reading. He will have to wire up the new gauges independently with there own sensors.

Injectors
Scooby injectors will only fit a 94+ onwards fuel rail and having to buy 2 sets might not make them so financially attractive. Depends how cheap they go for I guess. Not sure what injector type the supra has

New Member from the US
U.S uses Mon rating system for Octane. We use the Ron rating for Octane. Typically the Mon rating is 3 points lower than the Ron rating. So our 98 is the approx equivalent of your 95.

Digital Dash
The only one that is going to cause an issue is your Speedo - as the Vehicle speed sensor is passed through the speedo first before teh signal is altered and sent to the ECU for the PAS, Hicas and autobox. But thats simple to get around by just retaining the small board for the Speedometer and hiding it behind your new dash, it seperates from the main speedo unit and only measured about 5cm x 5cm

Does this sound like the usual car scam?
Sounds exactly the scam (maybe) from same person that a friend had somebody try to pull on them today....been ongoing for a few days, A mercedes from Italy (found on pistonheads). exactly the same story - Car bought in UK, company transferred him to italy, got LHD company car now, so no longer needs this car....no need to pay anything till car has been shipped to you and you can take a look at it yourself..etc and decide if you want to buy. Its a no lose situation.... All looks good....until this morning gets an email from shipping company asking to do a moneygram transfer to your partner or a friends name then show them receipt, so they can verifiy your authenticity/Identitiy...moneygrams instantly ring alarm bells, but sill not entirely sure how the scam works if it is a scam...but you describing the near exact advert rings alarm bells.
