Unless there is something very special about the rest of the car , walk away. At the prices these cars go for these days its just not worth the time or money repairing it. That car is destined to be broken for parts. The Sills have most likely rotted from the inside out (targa drain holes). Unfortunately that's a common occurrence with UK cars, not so much of a problem with Imports as they haven't been subjected to so many years of our winters and salty roads.

I dont believe it was a lenient sentence....or harsh...or even fair....its a difficult scenario, since he was not found guilty of using his laptop im referring to the case of Careless driving. How does one decide the punishment for a small mistake that has such terrible consequences. Nobody can claim that for every second you've ever been behind a wheel you have been 100% alert, it only takes a split second. Its a terrible situation that anyone can quite easily face and the driver will have to live with it for the rest of his life. If he was found guilty of using the laptop, then his sentence would of been Dangerous driving and Death by dangerous driving is a whole different story and is much more harshly penalised.

Worth a go, should look fine if done carefully. The problem is that even replacing with 2nd hand means they have to be cut away from donor car (which is a pig of a job to do) , so no guarantee you'll get them perfect, and they are very expensive from Nissan.

The problem is'nt the sender, its the gauge. The sender itself is fine, although the pin hole can get blocked up over time, but its the crappy gauge itself thats useless.

Standard wheel is around 365mm, so a 350mm wheel will feel better. Standard wheel feels like its from a bus/truck once your used to a smaller one.

Mine is 320mm. Feels fantastic, very go-kart like ...but id does obscure half the dials. Im looking to replace it with a 330-340mm wheel if I can find one.
