  1. ooh..another slicktop TT owner :) Looks like a nice selection of parts, although Im afraid I agree with the others about the front bumper.
  2. Always had same issue with all makes of Imports I've had. Its to do with the different pump nozzle sizes they use, ours are thicker and so dont go in far enough to push the flap open properly. The trick is to find the right angle, dont put it in so far, and don't squeeze the trigger all the way.
  3. Very Impressive ! These are the new SP-90's (biggest turbo kit available for the 300zx) ? Look forward to hearing your impressions on the power delivery after turning. Car exterior looks great as well, what are those wheels ? You need to post up your full spec list, you have done a LOT to that car and Im sure most dont realise just how much.
  4. More pics http://www.kt-autostyling.com/arac_detay.asp?id=13&no=1
  5. There is some potential for breaking Brakes - 250 Manual conversion kit - 500-700 Engine - 300-500 Spoiler - 100 MAF - 100 (maybe damaged in accident) Add in an extra few hundred for odd pieces here and there and you could get 1500-2000 for it
  6. Possibly MAF problems, although nothing to do with the mesh, that has no affect. You can remove that if your concerned about it coming of and entering the intake. Typical MAF fault symptoms are that it wont allow you to rev past 2500-3000rpm. If it sounds "lumpy" at idle and through the rpm range, then you may be experiencing a missfire from 1 or more cylinders due to PTU, wiring, coilpack connectors, injector connectors..etc
  7. all sounds a bit french to me
  8. Don't like it Far more attractive IMO
  9. I think i might of taken that original pic of James300's car (above). It was at JAE 2005, before he sold it to Uno.
  10. Dont worry....Im here now :D lol ..it IS a Stillen Nose panel. They offer it in different versions. and here you can find it on Z1 as the "louvered" option http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_12&products_id=25
  11. Hi Tony, I had a 97 Celica 2.0 GT for a while. Was very reliable, lovely car to drive, quick (170hp) and great handling. Well built too. The GT and lesser models dont really have much of a following, but the GT-Four has a big following. I used to own a 92 ST185 GT-Four about 10yrs ago as well. http://www.gt4oc.net/ http://www.gtfours.co.uk http://www.toyotaownersclub.com
  12. happy Birthday - Not that you will read this though as you left the club a a month ago dont come here anymore
  13. Cool. Thats if the 3 new teams make it to 2010, they've been accepted but getting a car ready in time would be another matter.
  14. Most standard 300zx turbos on the dyno seem to make pretty close to the 280 figure. There are many problems that could cause power loss however, but Age/mileage is not a typical reason for any power loss from the VG, they stand up pretty well in old age.
  15. Moulded in. You would want to start with something like a 200 (Im impatient so I would start with an 80, then regret it as I spend ages trying to smooth out the scratches lol) , and work up to about 1200.
  16. Loose connection on your gauge temp sender. If you look at the enginebay, the metal water hardpipe inbetween the radiator and the engine you will see 2 sensors with connectors. Its the smaller connector (usually black) on the right. Check the contacts for corrosion and make sure it fits on tightly. It has no affect on the rest of the running of the car. idle issues could be so many things.
  17. A friend bought a V8 for 800 last year. They dont really appeal to me, a kind of japanese Jag xjs. The blue and white one look pretty good above, but they dont look as good stock.
  18. In every pic those wheels just look like they are really badly photoshopped on
  19. yes its a Z32 pump, but is it OEM ? Never fit a non-oem pump.
  20. Get some 6.5" front component speakers and a 10" subwoofer and Amp for the boot. You can get 6x4 JBL's for the rear that are a direct fit, although personally I wouldn't bother with the rears.
  21. Although 500 ib/ft torque capability is less than a stock z box. That figure will be at the fly, and Mac's is on about 650-700 ib/ft fly. I quite fancy a a tremek/Borg warner T56 6speed box. They do lots of different versions though, with different ratios and power handing capablities, all from different vehicles.
  22. ahh, ok that kinda makes sense. Only ever seen the cream interior in the Convertible.
  23. very interesting, thanks Dave. Odd how they list the folding mirors as an option, but they were standard items. and I dont get the tonneau cover bit for the vert  Is'nt a Tonneau cover something that you would put over the folded down roof ? If so, thats standard, in fact you could'nt have it any other way as its all part of the mechanism and body panels.
  24. Get yourself one of these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEALEY-ENGINE-SUPPORT-BEAM-300kg-ES300_W0QQitemZ300316320180QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment?hash=item45ec3f61b4&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1689%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
