Aftermarket wheels
Put a wanted thread up on here, and keep an eye on Ebay, Pistonheads, Driftworks and the 200sx, skyline, 350z and supra forums. Although bear in mind some of these cars use different offsets, generally anything from 30-40 is ok, but it depends on width, if unsure just ask here first.

Aftermarket wheels
225/40/18 is the tyre size, which is ok for the front of a Z but very narrow for aftermarket wheels on a Z - For example Stock UK rear wheels have 245 width and everyone goes wider than that when they fit new wheels, usually 265 wide. 225 is the width 40 is the sidewall height as a percentage of the width 18 is the diameter of wheel The offset is nothing to do with tyres, its to do with the wheels themselves. It will usually be printed on the inside hub of the wheel, and will be a number, possibly with "et" at the front, such as et35. Offset is the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the hub-surface of the wheel. Different cars require different offset wheels. Too much postive offset and the wheel will sit inside the arch, too little offset and it will stick outside the arches. Offset is also depending on width. The Adaptor will stick the wheels out of the arch further than they would normally.

Aftermarket wheels
no, you need a spacer like that but one that converts 5x100 into 5x114 (or 5x114.3) I've heard of them, but no idea where from. But then you have to take into account the wheel offsets, the offset number will be printed on the back of the wheel, usually where it bolts onto the hub. Depending on the offset you could end up with wheels that stick out the arches, or too far inside the arches. You would be much better off selling them and putting the money towards wheels that are a proper width and that fit properly.

Trim Kits
If your looking to DIY (rather than pay an upholster) then you can either buy pre-cut leather for the panels (then are ebay sellers and some suppliers in the states) or you cut it yourself from a 4m roll (cheaper and only a little extra work). You remove the old tweed (which you can use as templates for cutting the new leather) and bond the leather to the panels using either upholstery glue or something like Evostick Solvent Contact adhesive.

Bridgestone s02
225 is the more popular front fitment for the Z. I'd personally go for the 245 front, but Im thinking more track orientated rather than road where it would suffer with more tramlining and there could be rubbing issues.

new in the uk!
Are you thinking of this much more attractive White Z (has blue neon rear lights) ?

new in the uk!
Its all wrong. Front bumper too big, rear bumper too big and ugly, side skirts ugly with stupid vent. Kinda digging the bonnet even if it is OTT and like the black and white scheme.

Aftermarket wheels
The vectra uses a 5x100 fitment, while the 300zx (as do most Jap cars) use a 5x114 fitment. Which means they will not fit. There are PCD adaptors out there with holes for a 5x114 fitnent, and then studs for a 5x100 fitment. Its not common practice to do this, but its an option depending on the width and offset of the wheels. I imagine them to be quite narrow if they came from a vectra though and really not worth fitting. 8.5" front and 9.5" rear is the most popular aftermarket wheel width option.

Yep, that is Schumachers very own car. As said, he is NOT the Stig. Most likely Ben Collins or a combo of drivers(inc Collins).

Chrome front lights
Are those of you with the 99spec replica inserts having them done like the real thing, with the 2 different shades of chrome ? as far as I understand the outer is done in a a kind of dark grey/black chrome while the indents for the lights are done in regular chrome ?

Urgent advice please!
Its a common issue with Z's , many are driving around with noisy lifters but I've seen lifter treatment permanently solve plenty of noisy top ends.
