  1. I dont see a price
  2. Got a feeling the stock NA exhaust is 2"
  3. Full Respray in 'Nissan Bayside Blue' - a Nissan Skyline colour
  4. Got me the DVD here too, a Nissan promo Si received a permanant ban a couple of months back.
  5. Sh*t Paul, hope everything is ok and it was just a one-off.
  6. Today I spent the day with Pat Symonds (ex-Renault F1 technical director), and various other senior engineers from Williams F1, Mercedes HPE and Redbull Racing - that can been seen regulalry on the TV during F1 weekends. Managed to get Olly Carles (Redbull Racing) to sketch me some diagrams related to Manipulation of Suspension roll centre geometry - does that count as an Autograph?
  7. Wondered what happened to it, must of been a good 8 years ago I remember it first appeared "its been valued at £3250-£3500" LOL for a standard bare rolling shell. by who ? edit: price prob not as bad as I first thought, just realised the price complete cars are still comanding.
  8. LOL  There are dozens of reasons for low mpg, you listed the most likely reasons yourself and others have suggested other causes... Nobody can diagnose the problem over the Internet based on your info, they can only make suggestions for you to diagnose yourself. If you cant solve it then take it to a specialist, ie back to Zedworld, to Inspect.
  9. The shipping price options to the UK are all shown in the shopping cart when you go through the order. whereas I ordered a lot from the States (z1, czp, courtestyparts and others) for Z stuff over the past few years, and I have only not been hit by duty & vat once! Smithy makes a very good point....if you have the items declared at a lower value, and its get lost or broken en route (and that does happen) then your screwed.
  10. It depends on the year. Pre 91 NA's have different calipers for 28mm discs. Late 1991 onwards are the same as TT calipers which use 30mm width discs. But there is some crossover between years, and you cant rely on the V5 registration date. Needs to be measured ideally. From 93 onwards the Calipers were changed from Alloy to Iron.
  11. Left hand. You can turn on the other sensor in the settings (listed as o2 Sensor RH), you need to replace one of the other shown sensors with it.
  12. The readings below 2000rpm are irrelevent, the system runs a closed loop system. You need to hold the revs at 2k+, and both o2 sensors readings should switch from lean to rich continously.
  13. When increasing the wheel size you fit lower profile tyres to maintain the same overall diameter, or as close as possible. Your typically looking at 0-2% rolling circumference diameter difference.
  14. The TT is actually more economical cruising on motorway that a NA, due to final drive gearing, it's a different story on boost ofcourse.
  15. Myself and Silverbullet have the NA rear end (on a TT). Although Mark has a lot more road use with his than I have. I have heard of a NA diff being destroyed, and another of driveshafts shearing, but in both cases it was very high powered examples on Slicks being drag launched. The NA diff is a R200, which came in various guises on most Nissan performance models (sx, gtr...etc). Im not worried about it myself.
  16. Dont rule out the discs, even though new, it can only take a single spirited drive followed by sitting at a stop(traffic light) with your foot on the brake pedal to cause such symptons. Commonly known as a "warped disc" although more typically caused by uneven pad material residue on the disc, or actual disc damage itself (crack or collapsed veins). But the tension rod bushes are easy to check, they are gel filled bushes and can usually be visibily inspection for wear and leaks.
  17. Some pics I did a while back for guidance :
  18. Sounds like you definatly have a engine bay fuel leak. The fuel hoses run from the filter on the Right hand side (passenger side) of the engine bay, and over to the plenum. Where they enter the fuel rail then return back next to the fuel filter location. Remove the engine cover in the centre of the plenum to give better access. They are a mix of rubber hose and metal pipe with plenty of hose clamps. Go through and tighted all of the hose clamps up. There is a another small piece of fuell pipe at the front of the engien plenum, underneath the accelerator cable linkage. So do a lot of Male Z owners
  19. 1, wozzer 2, madmarco (Yea baby!) 3, You know it makes sense, Croeso 4, IanL 5, Murt 6, Funkyboogalooo 7, Coopers-SWB (hopefully) 8, Yowser
  20. Thats why all cars should always be ran in the gear that is or closest to 1:1 ratio, which happens to be 4th gear on a Manual TT. Dyno's measure wheel power (or hub power), they then "estimate" flywheel hp based on the wheel power they have, either through generic calculations or my measuring drag, neither of which is accurate becuase there are not set calculation rules and friction(drag) is increased by load (and load on a coasting deceleration is nothing like the load when accelerating)
  21. There is a difference between the Series 1 and 2 onwards doors, as they have side impact bars in them. I cant remember weighing a door myself, so I must have got the figure from somebody else that has. They are very heavy, 70-80 ibs sounds about right.
  22. Yep, Si was a fan of this Beet kit when it was all the rage a couple of years back. There are lots of old threads on it if people want to go back and find more pics and details. I love the colour (of the blue version) and at first glance really liked it, but the more I've seen it the more I dislike it. Mainly the massive fake vent thing bothers me, pretending its mid-engined.
  23. never been a fan of the 350z. Poor/unworthy replacement for the 300zx, im sure it met the current consumer needs but no getting away from that its a cheaper vehicle meant for a lower market class. The 370z seems to be a much improved car. I've not read any recent reviews on it, but definatly has the edge on looks and with all the the other improvements that were talked about it seems to be a much better car.
