what spolier is this?
I disagree, I think it looks great. My 2nd fav to the 99spec, and much nicer than the dated 89-94 spoiler with ruins the Z's natural lines. Dont listen to anyone else go with what you want, everyone has there own opinions and there are some very dubious tastes on here.

what spolier is this?
I think they mean it was exclusive to those years in the U.S...not exclusive to the U.S. Was used from 94 to 99 on Jap models.

600zx - Finally back to work....
Fantastic Nick, sounds great, very pleased for you.

My new Nissan....
Doubt it. I think it was Funkysi that used to say it but the Z only has that stalk becuase all of the other controls normally shared by the stalk are on Pods. I dont believe the Micra ever had pods.

Manual Conversion Adapter Ring
^^^ as above, chisel edge. Then you will need to replace it with a manual spigot bush.

Still not that fast
been in one pushing 450hp. Very angry under full throttle, quick as hell but the car itself really was a pile of crap.
-
well would you look at that
Almost spat my drink all over my keyboard when I read that. Only ever worked on one GTO and vowed never to do again. Every single little job it needed was a nightmare compared to the Z.

Car failed MOT today
undo the 2 screws under the pod that hold it in, and carefully pull it out....what you will probably find is that the plastic screw holes that the hazard switch fixed to have broken away and the hazard switch is not sitting in the correct place.....so when you push the switch it does'nt fully engage. Quite a common problem. A bandaid fix is to try and use two longer screws to hold the switch in place.......but otherwise MJP for new pod housing.

Black box Relfection

silly question, how do u change the sidelight bulbs?
The scews at the front are for adjusting aim, you dont really want to touch them. You need to remove the side indicators (2 screws) which gives you access to the 3x 10mm nuts at the back of the foglight/sidelight housing. Undo these, to remove the unit from the front to replace the bulbs. The sidelight bulbs are type 501.

Another Z back on the road...!

Bloody shop assistants
I like my high horse, I purchased it of a very Professional, Polite and helpfull salesman. I hear they are very few and far between these days :p
-
Bloody shop assistants
 a. Read the thread. b. If you work in retail, I would suggest a career change.
-
Bloody shop assistants
Are you for Real? Your suggesting Atlast deserved to be treated like that becuase he ordered online. Anyway, he said they were rude and ignorant before they even knew he had ordered online. and Im sure most of us have worked in retail at some point in our lives.

SWB & LWB differences?
is the SWB a TT and the LWB a NA? LOL Other than windscreen washer bottle within the inner wing, the frontends are identical.
-
Save the Stig!
its pretty well known who he is (or at least who he is for the majority of the time), but would be a shame for it to be officially uncovered. But then If it does get officially leaked then they can just change him easily enough. Thats what they did last time with the Black stig (Perry Mcarthy)

SWB & LWB differences?
Yes, but only ever as a passenger at CC unfortuantly. Have you ever driven a swb properly ? High Speed stability is all about the wheel Track vs wheelbase ratio, which on the SWB is still larger than many sports cars, providing great stablity at speed. Also, high speed stability is not the same as high speed grip. The SPL and Powertrix race cars are SWB, as are all the full-on Track built Z's I know except the UAS car.
-
SWB & LWB differences?
..and I've been in a NA Convertible Auto overtaking every single TT owner around the track too, you know what track days are like ;) your talking theory, not reality, the SWB is not in the least bit any less stable than a LWB round CC, just quicker and without all the wobble :p

Audi tt/ boxtser / S2000.
its got to be between the Boxster and the S2000, and while im not a fan of it personally the Boxter has certainly had plenty of praise over the years. Im sure its a better car than the s2000 is, it always beats it in roadtests/review comparisons.

SWB & LWB differences?
yeh, other than Tint variations...and the vert has a built in Aerial. But all the same size/fitment.
-
SWB & LWB differences?
yeh, the roofline is a different shape so as are the windows. Took me a couple of months to find a replacement swb drivers window for mine...had to use a LWb version tempoarily which left a gap at certain places.
-
SWB & LWB differences?
It would be easier if you wrote a list asking which differs, rather than us going through the entire car listing all the differences, there are just too many. Doors are different (b-pillar is different length), doorcards are the same though. All glass differs (except windscreen) I used to run a business sharing a Unit next to SWZ Performance.

Clear side repeaters
The smithys/DTA and eBay version are all the same, they require modification to the lugs or rewiring.
-
Clear side repeaters
They are all like that. You can either cut off one of the lugs or if they come with there own bulb holder (some do, some dont) then wire them in
