  1. I forgot to mention that even with the dipped HID's on, the halo's are still very visible or unaffected :cool3:.
  2. Having read many of your posts today Jeff about your subs expiring, sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sorry but I can only see it as you being totally to blame. I got my reminder at the turn of the year no problem and duly paid :cool3:. A reminder email was sent and to a contact email address that you have put in your profile nobody else, yes it was bounced back to Lee but it isn't his job to keep running around after members, if that was the case the lad wouldn't have a life. I would hope that now on reflection you can see the error of your ways and offer the club an apology for your over reaction .
  3. Same here but seeing as there are not many vin numbers between mine and yours that then is a given :cool3:.
  4. Hahahaha........I didn't mean the door card as I've had that off many times but I am now feeling guilty you wrote all that .
  5. I have some chrome ones to fit, I expect the card as to come off and then it's pretty straight forward but if there is any advice to give please post away :cool3:.
  6. I must say I'm very much the same, mine comes off after a few pulls :whistling:.
  7. This isn't a for sale thread . I will just say that the sets I've sold on the auction site have all gone for roughly £150.00 and I do think that price about right.
  8. Thanks Brian and yes I did light up the halos when he visited me and am glad some else can vouch for them. This is a night pic with the flash on, these are just all sidelights - brighter than the stock dipped bulbs .
  9. Sick to the back teeth of making these up and selling them on for others to enjoy :mad2: the last set I sold on ebay the recipient was overjoyed, I think 'impressed' was the word :cool3:. Just as it was on the bench these do not photo or video so well and do not at all do this little mod any justice, the crisp, white, sharp smd lights are too darn bright !! But I must admit and blow my own trumpet here - these are stunning in the flesh and the 24 smd's are visible from way back, they look factory fit and are perfectly suited to the 300. Anyway here's another one of my short little videos, again showing off my switchback amber/white indicator/sidelight bulbs as well :thumbup1:. Any day my 5000k HID's will arrive and will be installed - I am having a change from 6000k which I have had in for 3 years. [video=youtube_share;VgA7_70LdHs]
  10. That's all good and well but what about organizing something for us zedexers :whistling:.
  11. Very good.....seen what you've done there .
  12. You should know better than most Dazza, that it's not all about the size my dear :winkiss:. Are we on then for a meet at Aintree :cool3:.
  13. I'm on a 10" laptop and it is still just a big bigger than most on here and just doesn't quite all fit on without me clicking further to the right. If you are seeking perfection I think it just needs a touch taking off all four sides bud and then centralize it :cool3:.
  14. I know you say that in jest but it's not a case of hoarding them, replacing mine would be near impossible here in the UK and is the reason and very last resort they get put up for sale as the value will not depreciate on them but it also wouldn't on tidy LWB's. If a SWB does come up for sale if it will be a N/A and/or have an auto box so finding a TT Manual is difficult, this is the reason they certainly start at 4K and then the condition, mileage, colour, etc, as all got to be taken into account for you to take that plunge :cool3:. Good luck with your search.
  15. Apart from internals everything upgraded to 555 have had 23psi on the profec. Using Iridium Heat Range 8 Spark Plugs - very happy with them. Not so keen on haribo, can I have one of those pastel coloured candy necklaces instead :cool3:.
  16. Do it again Steamy and this time crop the car off completely :whistling:.
  17. You have another 'big blue bar' - is this a front strut brace and Tokyo Auto branded? If so there's some on here that will be very interested in that :cool3:. 1.3 BAR is easily achievable but with some mods, 1 BAR is the norm for a stock engine which by the sounds of it is what you have.
  18. Great to of met you both today Brian and very grateful for your posted comments on my 300. I haven't just got enough leds as yet, would you possibly believe to complete the work on my own units, so any pics you can post up as requested will be good to see :cool3:.
  19. Not so keen on them in red........much prefer if it was silver :whistling:.
  20. Seeing as I convert normal stock lights into 99 spec copies and I have now, to further update them started to fit led strip lights inside - I like my own work so I am going to fit the led's into my genuine 99 spec tails. Below you will notice a pic of these in bits and I want to dispel a few myths and state some facts. The outer lenses are no different but the stripe 99 additions are on a clear bit of perspex which is double sided stuck in against the outer (please see post 9 pic, etc) and I can duplicate this almost perfectly by adding lines to the old units, these lenses have all the E markings the same, however there is a line of text and this is on the red part just under the reflector on the 99's and much lower down on the amber part on the older ones. The red diffuser is identical on all and exactly the same shade - I have read folk saying it is a different shade of red, it is not :detective:. In certain light the 99's do look slightly different and I can only put this down to the very high reflective properties of the chromed insert, this I cannot replicate  only to spray them with chrome spray. The backs are identical, part numbers and all the advice on bulb watts and types to be used in different countries, however the 99's have these two extra lines stamped into the black back 'with amber lens' 'with white lens'. The stop/tail bulb holders are the same, however the amber bulb holder on the 99's will not fit into the older indicator chamber opener, the blobs will just not allow and vice versa. The 99's use an offset pinned amber bulb in it's bulb holder as it sits behind a clear diffuser lens, this is a light grey colour and not black, the older type bulb for this same position uses a bulb that as to have straight pins :cool3:.
  21. Your temp gauge is poor but should reach almost halfway and stay there. You should get all toastie inside no matter what the outside temp is. Your thermostat is old and as done a lot of work, change it for a new one bud :cool3:.
  22. Sure that's Ann Summers :sweatdrop:.
  23. Why just for the ladies :scared:.
  24. C'mon Rich it's blatantly obvious Jeff just copied what I put but was long winded about it, what does he know :whistling:.
