  1. That's a link to a search Dan :surrender:.
  2. I've got some new decals and with my old ones being silver and these chrome.....I fit a set :cool3:.
  3. You've got the same key as me there Steve, I got mine cut no bother in my next town, he just said it was harder. I got some of them door strike covers recently - they fit like a glove and I've had some valve caps off him. I also sent him something only yesterday :sneaky2:.
  4. Occasionally mine does run a bit rough but a switch off and it's sorted and if that doesn't mend it the zed pixies mend it overnight, maybe sometimes it doesn't start when warm but I think a new battery will sort this but cutting out once going as never happened, sure you'll keep us posted :cool3: .
  5. That's certainly the best place to view them both from :tt2: :tt2:.
  6. I cannot ignore this thread without commenting, Lee worked on mine....engine out and adding all the upgrades I supplied in the summer of 2012 which culminated in me reaching over 500BHP. He his consciences and thorough, he even did jobs above and beyond his remit, his prices which isn't the main thing to consider with Zeds are also reasonable. I wish him every success and I chose very well in picking him to be the one and only mechanic I have for my car :cool3:.
  7. Yes............having a plentiful supply of cutting fluid does help :nana2:.
  8. :happybday: :happybday: :happybday: :happybday:
  9. Does starting up the machine arouse you that much Brian :whistling:.
  10. I can yes and it will look 99 spec, the pic in post 28 was once a 'normal' panel, you can have with or without the lines Neil .
  11. All that does imply you've weighed your weener !!
  12. I don't no....what is the weight ?
  13. 2nd October 2010, back in the day when I had 99 spec copies I put the lines in on my own reverse red illuminated panel.
  14. Got a genuine one waiting for you although you can hardly tell the difference .
  15. Get the knotted wire wheel Mark on the grinder and run it over the top for him.........keep the customer happy :tt2:.
  16. That's certainly a great update to this thread Dave, some great pics and it does look nice, makes mine look a bit bare without the stripes .
  17. You just beat me to it, I was going to put exactly the same :whistling:.
  18. I have always had an original 99 spec reverse light panel on my car, just that I adapted it to allow for some illumination of the 300ZX, but with my evolved way of now doing things I wanted the red outline back and also to illuminate as before so I set to and have accomplished this. So this is before which for the untrained eye you would think a standard reverse panel, and then further below as is now, please remember the red on the ones I do is redder than the factory ones.
  19. You've been busy buying and then working on a Zed ?
  20. Ready now......are we re-jigging yours ?
  21. Yes I forgot to say I did like them very much and did think the spread of light was better with the led's !!!!!!! So not feeling what you're saying Bri my buddy.
  22. Erm, I didn't think anyone cared about my led tails and another tongue in cheek answer, stock wins COTY !!!! Nobody else would of noticed but the fitment of my all 3 tail units was doing my head in, not lining up and the reason for this is I crammed that many led's inside they would slowly come apart. Again nobody would of noticed but on one side one of the two strips I used for the brake light part had failed, on closer inspection the two wire sheath to it had burnt, surprised it didn't blow a fuse every time, all the other 3 brake light wire sheaths were perfect so I think a one off failure. I could of mended with enhanced changes but it would of needed practically starting again so I sacked them off, I am also working on making my reverse light panel 99 spec red looking when off again and also I have sorted my 3rd, 4th, or 5th whatever brake light flasher out as well so have things in bits today and really I wanted the quick 'fix'.
