Just back from dropping my car off. Leigh your car is fine and the engine has been completely stripped down and rebuilt. I seen it on Friday on the engine stand and it is ready to go back into your car. Chris is a genuine bloke unlike the previous owner and there is a lot of work being done there.

Cheers guys! Should i use Brilliant on them now before they go on the car to give them some protection? Or just use the Belgom Alu the first time they need polishing then the Brilliant?

I have just got my alloys back from the refurbishers and would like to know what i can put on them to keep them looking good. The dish has been polished and is very shiny and i would like to keep them that way!!!

Been looking at funkysi's pictures and i really need one that is from the side looking across at the spoiler in a straight line. At least i know that it should overhang the tailgate a bit.

The rear wiper has been removed. Does yours overhang the back by much?

Can somebody with a 99 spec spoiler tell me how far from the rear window the spoiler sits? Does the back edge of the spoiler overhang the back of the tailgate?

Good to hear from you again Alan! I have also got a set of 17" original Strosek OZ Futura alloys which are about to come back from the refurbishers. I was thinking about fitting them, however i dont think my AP brakes will fit under them. CROESO, the Falkens i fitted on my old Z definetely looked stretched so i am hoping that the 295 should sit ok. I was just a bit concerned that the 235's may be slightly narrow compared to the width of the rear tyres. I see you are running 245's on the front. My front offset is 35 do you think i could get away with 245's?

I have looked at the Tyre size calculator and i am thinking 295/30/18 on the back and 235/40/18 on the front. Do you think that this is an ok pairing? I am looking at Falken FK452 tyres, has anyone got experience of them? I used to run FK451's on my old Z.

Does anyone have measurements of whereabouts on the boot the mounting points for a 99 spec spoiler should be? Or any close up pictures that i can take to bodyshop to help?

Will take some before and after pictures. Never done it before but am going to put it pretty much everywhere!!

Can somebody have a look and tell me whether or not there is a rubber that runs along the doorsill and up to join the Targa roof rubber or is the rubber attatched to the door?

It is now Audi Phantom Black! No changing my mind as it is now done! The spoiler is being left unpainted and also got a few other carbon fibre bits that are going on it. Just back from the bodyshop and it looks great. The panels are being refitted this afternoon and tommorrow and should have a windscreen tommorrow aswell! Unfortunately my camera battery died and i couldnt get any photos. I will be going back over the next few days so will get pictures then. I am going to be dynamatting the interior before refitting the cream leather interior which i have been restoring. I need to get a few parts to finish it off which will take a few weeks to arrive but thats no big deal.

It has taken a lot of time and effort but just got a call to say that my Z has been resprayed!!! On my way to see it now and will take a few pictures. It doesn't have the glass back in it yet and the bumper and bonnet will get fitted later but cant wait to see it painted:hyper::hyper::hyper:
