  1. Don't forget, other people's chips don't have any calories ;)
  2. Exactly! Oracle DBA/SQL/SAP are the future. And database stuff is a piece of cake to anyone who can actually program.
  3. Anyone notice how the programme that Top Cat was in is actually called "Boss Cat"?
  4. Once, at Ztech, I leaned in through the open driver's window to take my keys out. The cat1 security did its job and wound the windows up. I panicked and pulled my arm out, minus the keys. Fortunately my wife was with me in her car, but I had to do a 120 mile round trip to re-open it with the spare after Jock and Ryan's attempts to open the boot catch with a nylon strip failed.
  5. Can you imagine what a hero he's going to be on Top Gear when he pulls through? Get well soon, Hamster!
  6. But £5k? They should give them away in packets of cornflakes.
  7. Keep us posted. I've got a brute-force cracker at work, if need be.
  8. More freebies at a boat show than a zoo.
  9. Waste of money, IMO. Just spend some time/money advertising yourself. Also, have you considered Contracting? I never did but I've been at my current place for 19 months now and it's all good. You'd be surprised how bad PC knowledge is even at aerospace companies. Good luck, mate.
  10. Up from the depths, 30 storeys high....... Can anyone finish it?

    OK for me.
  14. I hope you've taken them out of that packaging and got them tucked up nice and safe in a humidor?
  15. Sorry to rain on your parade, but that party name has already been taken by a bloke in Gloucestershire.
  16. Totally Z unrelated..... I've been smoking Cuban cigars for a few years now, but today I discovered the wonder of drinking an Islay single malt whisky with them. Pure joy! This has to be the Bugatti Veyron of the cigar/drink combination. Just thought I'd share. PPS. I'm very, very drunk :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:

Is a £0.01 deposit OK? ;) :p How much do you need, mate?
  20. Too subtle? ;) 1) The rules in The Highway Code do not give you the right of way in any circumstance 2) Stop and give way If someone is stopped at a Stop sign and is waiting for you to pass, you are being given right of way. Therefore, the rules in The Highway Code DO give you the right of way in at least one circumstance (there may be more).
  21. That's a bit self-contradictory, isn't it? The Code (not you Dave). http://www.highwaycode.gov.uk/signs04.htm Stop and give way

    I'm in :)
  23. Well done, Greg. Now get back to fixing my car ;)
