How about Helicobacter Pyloris? Just fake bad acid indigestion for a few days and then take the time off. When you go back, say you had to have 3 x 7 day courses of very strong anti-biotics to kill it and you were in too much pain to do much else.

I've had Eagle F1s in the past and, as far as I can tell, the Falken 451s I have now are just as good (and quite a bit cheaper). I've had BF Goodrich in the past, too, and as Mac says they are good (if somewhat uncommon).
