ISP Recommendations
Sky Broadband is still through a phone line, if that's what you mean. I think it's sort of ADSL+. 8mb at the moment, but 16mb unlimited for £10 a month is coming soon next year.

God i hurt!!
What's the trick to getting the netman to return at a sharp angle? It's been annoying me (I'm only at 1400 at the moment).

Advanced driving
Good, safe driving is not about testing 300bhp on a public highway though. There's a time and place for that kind of thing. The Z is very easy to drive 'normally'. People just need to exercise some self control.

I think £85 to put yourself through I.A.M. training and membership is far better value. You can get quite a bit off your insurance with some companies too.

any surfers out there??
And the first tube you ride will change your life forever.

any surfers out there??
Or do what I did......... Start with an 8'2" gun, get pretty good at it fairly quickly, get bored with it, sell it and buy a 6'2" hot-dog board, get fed up 'cos it's impossible to stand up on, trade-in for a decent bodyboard and fins and then ride tubes that stand up surfers can't :) Oh, and you're not a real surfer until you've been out at 12ft Fistral. I did it on a bodyboard.

Does anybody do magic?
So far..... Leave one half a bit rattley and one not, let the punter shake them so they can hear the money inside one of them, then produce two stacks. Swap in two quid coins for the final reveal. Push coins through a table.

I'm 23 hours into Zelda - it's fantastic :) Some of those games you mentioned aren't ready for download yet though.

The human weapon! Amazing!
No denying it looks impressive and they are tough blokes......... However, the physics they quoted is a complete load of *****x. Long slabs with spacers are surprisingly easy to break - try it for yourself: get 3 housebricks and rest one on the other two, right at the ends. Stamp on it lightly and the middle brick breaks. That "scientist" must have been an actor or paid off.

Anybody useing Pipex
I used them for about 5 years. The actual technical bit of supplying internet usage is fine, good even, once you are set up. The customer service and helpdesk on the other hand is the biggest load of sh!t you could ever have the misfortune to encounter. They are a bunch of clueless morons. I know what I'm doing with PCs and t'internet but the cnuts managed to first supply me with three faulty ADSL modems before they admitted there was a KNOWN problem with the batch, and they managed to leave me connection-less for 10 days 'cos they fooked up the MAC transfer when I finally left them. I've spent countless hours on hold trying to get through to report problems - they are severley under-staffed. Avoid like the plague!

Technological changes in your lifetime?
Pong in 1976. Lead to my first "TV game" which lead to an Atari-wannabe-clone which lead to a ZX81, then a 48K Spectrum, then an Atari 520STFM, then a load of import games consoles and PCs and then into a career as video game designer and producer, then onto a "proper" job (now) in the aerospace industry. All that starting from just two white rectangles, a square and some numbers.

Good week
Glenn - how did you get hold of a photo of my best friends? BTW, I bought HD projector last night so now I'm playing the Wii on a 70" screen :)
