  1. all the vac pipes are new - and i'm sure there hoked up right again. i dont have a proper deep socket to get the pcv valves off without taking the plenum off.
  2. right - any ayrshire lads gonna help me do a plenum swap this saturday ?
  3. and an extra one replying to you !
  4. Yeh, Weather permitting I'm swapping the plennum back on Saturday !
  5. Right, striped down the dash and popped in my old cluster with and without the convertor and its still farts like a 2 bob hooker after a rear shafting ! mind my language as i'm frustrated now over this problem. I've checked all connections, run conzult and no errors so the only thing i can think off is a massive boost leak at full throttle. I've had soo many problems with my zed since i swapped the plennum for the polished one that i'm tempted now to swap back just to prove my own point to myself - that the plenum just does not fit properly on my series 4. Bummer !!
  6. He Lives !!!! Woooo.
  7. Welcome to our club, as its said before, gits some pics up; let her be seen !!
  8. Why even mention that ?
  9. No idea what's happening down our way ! Couple a weeks and my zed should be back on the road. Starting Monday it's in for two weeks getting some upgrades.
  10. Would having a speedo converter wired up bad give the same results ? I'm thinking I'll switch back to the old cluster as a test !
  11. Where's the speed sensor? Do you think changing the guage cluster could be the issue! Wasn't that long ago I installed a series 4 Nismo cluster.
  12. Checked all the connections today and everything seems ok, Engine still chokes when putting some floor to it, don't have boost guage as series 4 doesn't have them, how else can I check for a leek ! Any other ideas ?
  13. You gonna be using the bonnet as a new head board then !
  14. PMS !! She is a lady after all !!
  15. Only one i didn't check is the ptu, will do this laters. cheers
  16. This is a new problem that arisen in the last few weeks! When putting the pedal to the metal and going say more than 60mph my zed seems to cut out then go full throttle again then cut out. If I drive normally upto and over 80 then it's fine, I just can't floor it! Could this be a boost leak? I can hear the turbos spinning up fine. Also what effect would having a smaller bore exhaust do as I got a local garage to swap over the exhaust from my old NA as it looked a more meaner exhaust but the back pipes are connecting look thinner Could the exhaust now not be big enough bore and the engines choking itself ! Cheers folks
  17. You think there will be many zeds left after 2050 ??
  18. Mines booked in for next monday to get some body work and bits reprayed, also got a set of meisters to fit too ! But all in can't wait for the meets too !!
  19. The targa likely leaks because the drainage hole is blocked and the water gets forced over the sides! Its a 5 min fix, take off the end cap, peel back the rubber and clean out, then use a small drop of silicon sealer round the edges.
  20. You could try take the full seal off and stick them in the washing machine! This will get rid of all the gunk and restore the shape, mixed results in doing it.
  21. Mine had a leak too and i cleaned up the seal best i could forced boiling hot water down the hole to flush it out then used that black tar silicon to seal it again. been fine ever since !
  22. Maybe it's from the new transformers movie !
  23. Did you think you got to technical on him there groover ?
  24. Class, miss understanding there !!
