  1. Think it will fail the MOT under safety grounds, as if electrics fail, how do you get out ?
  2. Yeh, Regional Discount sounds good !
  3. Thankyou for the conntinued support to the 300zx.co.uk CLUB !!!:punk:
  4. Full details of the rep system and how it works are in this thread : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?167111-Forum-Reputation-System-Explained
  5. Top secret !! Actually its still getting designed but hopefully I'll get it launched shortly.
  6. guide to getting the main harness out : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?151390-Series-4-manual-air-con-to-digital-conversion-(pic-heavy)
  7. the harness from the pods is separate from that in the wings, but if your thinking of taking it out its a big ask job. for starters it's dash out, seats out, all aircon parts out including heater matrix out. I've done it once before and my guides in the faq section for swapping out manual style aircon to digital type. just follow that guide to get the loom out, the loom in the wings are completely separate.
  8. And i'm sure a mod will take it back off again as even though it could be on purpose it might as well be an accident. How would you like your personal info published online for all to see. Just saying could go both ways.
  9. thanks for the support, what kept you?
  10. Click the community dropdown menu and its in there, we moved it just to keep everyone on there toes!
  11. well that's us stopped in at Gretna Services, didn't think there's that many herbies about!
  12. So got myself some tickets to the gadget show and currently on a road trip there. From Troon to Birmingham in the wife's herbie beetle. Doubt anyone will spot us but it's a proper decaled white vw bug with red and and blue stripes and 53 on the doors. Gives a wave if we pass you today!
  13. thing is; car park was empty so no spectators to see the mishap
  14. And before anyone condones me for doing donuts in the car park this was complete accident :innocent: and should not be attempted in any sort of car park or street on purpose.
  15. No sh!t, caught me totally of guard, luckily for me I never hit any other parked cars or my own zed.
  16. Just left my work and managed to do a 180 in the car park in the dry. As I reversed out of my parking space and round a bend somehow the clutch came off then rebit, in the second or so panic I took my foot off the accelerator then back on again just as it rebit in second gear. Now as I was turning the corner when the clutch re engadged and I had my foot on the accelerator the zed instantly spun 180 where she stood without the front wheels barely moving. My heart jumped out my body via my arse, I quickly jumped out checked everything out and luckily all is well and no damage, but if it slipped or should say unslipped what could have caused that?
  17. Does the foam cover up the bleed valve which is at the top left ?
  18. Now if your planning on keeping the auto which you likely are then I believe you need to have an extra oil cooler for that too i'm afraid. But if anyone else can confirm to be sure go ahead.
  19. two hoses on the left of this pic :
  20. Its part of the rad that you want to replace
  21. Ah, if you have an auto and I believe uk zeds there is an integrated oil cooler in the oem rad. you can bypass this on the box buy using a short piece of pipe.
  22. I've got a toyo aftermarket and no issues with fitting. It slides into the two mount holes at the bottom easily and the top water pipe holds it in place so it doesn't jump about.
  23. Put a tarpaulin over the engine and pressure wash it !
