  1. Anyone removed one from a series 4 ? I've followed the standard guide but there is a few differences in the pipe work. Only removing mine as the brackets are rusty so might install one from an r32. I've read that the ecu brings up fault codes but how does it know ?
  2. Engines already at Lee Dents for a rebuild so i'm just cleaning up the engine bay a bit and getting rid of anything I no longer want or nor need. Also got rid of the carbon canister
  3. Fairly warm today so started to strip her down as much as I could before pickup later this week for a respray. As you can see this is a complete restore from the bare shell.
  4. The national Banners have arrived ! As we all know the REO's recently all received new flags to cover each individual area for local meets and shows. Since the quality and feedback from these banners was so good it was decided that we should replace the larger and aging flags that barely see the light of day apart from JAE each year. What I can say is we would be absolutely crazy not to get these out in the open air as they look bloody amazing. So first off the new flags designed in-house are based on a schematic of the z32 which I must say is so detailed that you could use them to trace where pipework or cabling goes if that's ever needed. To give a scale of these I've placed my three year old at the bottom who is just shy of three foot. Here is the two new banners at the front of my house : The final banner is a 10' by 3' long PVC print with an additional motive to celebrate the upcoming 25th Anniversary ! The quality is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to get these on display for the 25th celebrations and again for JAE.
  5. Happy Birthday guys, hope the days went well.
  6. Had about 4 Zeds now and never once had to remove the scuttle. not saying removing the scuttle isn't the proper way but after the securing brackets are removed just tilt the battery forward and carefully lift it at an angle.
  7. Here ye go : Manual Auto

  9. Mine wasn't glued but is tacked at a few strategic places. if it's glued then possible yours has already been pulled up and stuck down again.
  10. If you don't want to cut it then it's a dash out job as far as I know. at each side of the centre console there is two struts that bolt the support bat that's behind the dash, as these are bolted through precut holes in the carpet they will need to be removed first and the only Way to fully get into these is to completely remove the dash. heres a pic of the dash removed and you can just see the two struts that need to be unbolted. the carpet runs under the centre console and is a tight fit all the way back to the bulkhead .
  11. Sorry to hear this buddy, let me know how much you want for the turbos.
  12. See it still runs windows 95, lol
  13. Big shout out and thanks to znut for supplying me with a van load of goodies. I was well impressed and shocked at what he parted with for the cost of what I parted with. 80% of the components he gave now reside at lee dents and will be well used in my engine rebuild. The road was long but had absolutely no issues on the way and back this time so that was great. Thanks again
  14. And that's me home !! What a trip that was.
  15. Two miles from Lee dents place sitting in Mac Ds munching on a big Mac!
  16. Just finnished a large plate of bbq ribs and on my second stella.
  17. That's me at stewarts in Blackpool, going out for a few beers shortly. Plenty of room in the back of the van ;)
  18. On the road with bits of a zed rather than the zed itself. Starting off from Troon heading to blackpool just after 1pm then from there heading to meet with our very own znut then its over to lee dents and then a long trip home. Staying at Blackpool overnight to split the trip up but should be a good wee trip.
  19. So - how come we don't get a turnout like this at JAE ?
  20. Nice one - The hound is in town !
  21. That would be cool but he's Irish too !
  22. Nah, He's no Irish, and he comes from Glasgow originally but I think he stays fairly local to me now.
  23. He plays a current lead role and he's a bit of a hound !
